Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Qasas Verse 66
Al-Qasas [28]: 66 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
فَعَمِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْاَنْۢبَاۤءُ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ فَهُمْ لَا يَتَسَاۤءَلُوْنَ (القصص : ٢٨)

- فَعَمِيَتْ
- But (will) be obscure
- ʿalayhimu
- عَلَيْهِمُ
- to them
- l-anbāu
- ٱلْأَنۢبَآءُ
- the information
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- that day
- fahum
- فَهُمْ
- so they
- lā
- لَا
- will not ask one another
- yatasāalūna
- يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
- will not ask one another
Transliteration:
Fa'amiyat 'alaihimul ambaaa'u Yawma'izin fahum laa yatasaaa'aloon(QS. al-Q̈aṣaṣ:66)
English / Sahih Translation:
But the information will be unapparent to them that Day, so they will not [be able to] ask one another. (QS. Al-Qasas, ayah 66)

So all events will become too obscure for them (to give a correct reply), and they will not (be able to) consult each other.

So the information/news was blinding/confusing on (to) them (on) that day, so they do not ask/question each other.

And on the Day when He shall call unto them and say, "What was it you answered the messengers?"

Tafsir jalalayn
The tidings, the news of deliverance contained in the response, will be obscured to them on that day, in other words, they will not find any statement that might contain [hope of] deliverance for them; so they will not question one other, about this, and will fall silent.

Then the news of a good answer will be obscured to them on that Day, and they will not be able to ask one another.
Mujahid said;
"The proof will be obscured from them,"
so they will not be able to ask one another for help by virtue of their blood ties.
Allah's saying
