Al-Qur'an Surah An-Naml Verse 93

An-Naml [27]: 93 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ سَيُرِيْكُمْ اٰيٰتِهٖ فَتَعْرِفُوْنَهَاۗ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ࣖ (النمل : ٢٧)

waquli
وَقُلِ
And say
l-ḥamdu
ٱلْحَمْدُ
"All praise (be)
lillahi
لِلَّهِ
to Allah
sayurīkum
سَيُرِيكُمْ
He will show you
āyātihi
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
His Signs
fataʿrifūnahā
فَتَعْرِفُونَهَاۚ
and you will recognize them
wamā
وَمَا
And your Lord is not
rabbuka
رَبُّكَ
And your Lord is not
bighāfilin
بِغَٰفِلٍ
unaware
ʿammā
عَمَّا
of what
taʿmalūna
تَعْمَلُونَ
you do"

Transliteration:

Wa qulil hamdu lillaahi sa yureekum Aayaatihee fata'ri foonahaa; wa maa Rabbuka bighaaflin 'ammaa ta'maloon (QS. an-Naml:93)

English / Sahih Translation:

And say, "[All] praise is [due] to Allah. He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do." (QS. An-Naml, ayah 93)

Mufti Taqi Usmani

And say, “Praise belongs to Allah. He will show you His signs, then you will recognize them.” And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.

And say, “All praise is for Allah! He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. And your Lord is never unaware of what you do.”

And say; "Praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you His Signs, so that ye shall know them"; and thy Lord is not unmindful of all that ye do.

And say: "All praise be to Allah, Who will soon show you His Signs that you will recognize." Your Lord is not unaware of what you do.

Say: "All praise be to God. He will show you His signs, and you will recognise them. Your Lord is not heedless of what you do."

And proclaim, “All praise is to Allah – He will soon show you His signs so you will recognise them”; and (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) your Lord is not unaware of what you, O people, do.”

And say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah. Soon He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them.’ Your Lord is not oblivious of what you do.

Also say: "All praise and gratitude are for God. Soon He will show you His signs (which will prove that whatever He has decreed is true), and you will come to know them." Your Lord is never heedless and unmindful of whatever you do.

And also say, `All true praise belongs to Allâh He will soon show you His signs and you shall recognise them. And your Lord is not at all unaware of what you do.

English Literal

And say: "The praise/gratitude/thanks (is) to God, He will show you/make you understand His verses/evidences , so you know it, and your Lord is not with ignoring/neglecting about/from what you make/do 272

And proclaim, “All praise is to Allah – He will soon show you His signs so you will recognise them”; and (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) your Lord is not unaware of what you, O people, do.”

And to recite the Quran; And he who is guided right, is guided right only for his own soul; and as for him who goes astray - say unto him, "I am only of those who warn!"

And say [(O Muhammad SAW) to these polytheists and pagans etc.]: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah. He will show you His Ayat (signs, in yourselves, and in the universe or punishments, etc.), and you shall recognise them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do."

I am commanded only to serve the Lord of this city, Who has made it sacred, and His are all things, and I am commanded to be of those who submit,

And say: 'Praise belongs to Allah! He will show you His signs and you will recognize them. Your Lord is not inattentive of what you do'

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And say: "All the praises and thanks be to Allah. He will show you His Ayat, and you shall recognize them. And your Lord is not unaware of what you do."

Then say, "Praise be to God! He will show you His signs and you will recognize them. Your Lord is not unaware of what you do."

Talal Itani

And say, “Praise belongs to God; He will show you His signs, and you will recognize them. Your Lord is not heedless of what you do.”

Tafsir jalalayn

And say; `Praise be to God. He will show you His signs and you will recognise them. Thus on the day of Badr God showed them how it was to be killed, to be taken prisoner and to be beaten by the angels on their faces and backs; and God hastened on for them the [punishment of the] Fire. And your Lord is not oblivious of what they do' (ya`malna; or [read] ta`malna, `[what] you do') but grants them respite until their [appointed] time [of requital]. Meccan, except verses 52 to 55, which are Medinese, and verse 85, which was revealed at al-Juhfa during the Hijra; it consists of 88 verses, revealed after [srat] al-Naml.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَقُلِ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ سَيُرِيكُمْ ايَاتِهِ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا



And say;"All the praises and thanks be to Allah. He will show you His Ayat (signs), and you shall recognize them.

means, praise be to Allah, Who does not punish anyone except after establishing plea against him, warning him (and leaving him with no excuse).

Allah says;
سَيُرِيكُمْ ايَاتِهِ فَتَعْرِفُونَهَا
(He will show you His Ayat (signs), and you shall recognize them), This is like the Ayah,

سَنُرِيهِمْ ءَايَـتِنَا فِى الاٌّفَاقِ وَفِى أَنفُسِهِمْ حَتَّى يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ

We will show them Our signs in the universe, and in themselves, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the truth. (41;53)

وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ



And your Lord is not unaware of what you do.

means, on the contrary, He witnesses and sees all things.

It was recorded that Imam Ahmad, may Allah have mercy upon him, used to recite the following two lines of verse, whether they were written by him or someone else;

"If you are alone one day, do not say, `I am alone.' Rather say, `Someone is watching me.'

Do not think that Allah will let His attention wander for even an instant, or that anything is hidden from Him."
