Al-Qur'an Surah An-Naml Verse 29
An-Naml [27]: 29 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
قَالَتْ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الْمَلَؤُا اِنِّيْٓ اُلْقِيَ اِلَيَّ كِتٰبٌ كَرِيْمٌ (النمل : ٢٧)

Transliteration:
Qaalat yaaa aiyuhal mala'u innee ulqiya ilaiya kitaabun kareem(QS. an-Naml:29)
English / Sahih Translation:
She said, "O eminent ones, indeed, to me has been delivered a noble letter. (QS. An-Naml, ayah 29)

She (the queen) said (to her officials after receiving the letter), “O chieftains, there has been delivered to me an esteemed letter.

Tafsir jalalayn
Then, she said, to the noblemen of her people; `O [members of the] council, lo! (read y ayyuh'l-mala'u inn, pronouncing [in the last two words] both hamzas; or by not pronouncing the second one and changing it into a ww with kasra vowelling) a noble, a sealed, letter has been delivered to me.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
قَالَتْ
She said;(said to them),
يَا أَيُّهَا المَلَاُ إِنِّي أُلْقِيَ إِلَيَّ كِتَابٌ كَرِيمٌ
"O chiefs! Verily, here is delivered to me a noble letter."
She described it as such because of the wondrous things she had seen, that it was delivered by a bird who threw it to her, then stood aside out of good manners. This was something that no king could do.
Then she read the letter to them;
إِنَّهُ مِن سُلَيْمَانَ وَإِنَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
