طٰسۤ ۚ تِلْكَ اٰيٰتُ الْقُرْاٰنِ وَكِتَابٍ مُّبِيْنٍ ۙ ١
- tta-seen
- طسٓۚ
- Ta Seen
- til'ka
- تِلْكَ
- These
- āyātu
- ءَايَٰتُ
- (are the) Verses
- l-qur'āni
- ٱلْقُرْءَانِ
- (of) the Quran
- wakitābin
- وَكِتَابٍ
- and a Book
- mubīnin
- مُّبِينٍ
- clear
Ta, Seen. These are the verses of the Quran [i.e., recitation] and a clear Book. (QS. [27] An-Naml: 1)Tafsir
هُدًى وَّبُشْرٰى لِلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۙ ٢
- hudan
- هُدًى
- A guidance
- wabush'rā
- وَبُشْرَىٰ
- and glad tidings
- lil'mu'minīna
- لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- for the believers
As guidance and good tidings for the believers. (QS. [27] An-Naml: 2)Tafsir
الَّذِيْنَ يُقِيْمُوْنَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَيُؤْتُوْنَ الزَّكٰوةَ وَهُمْ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوْقِنُوْنَ ٣
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- yuqīmūna
- يُقِيمُونَ
- establish
- l-ṣalata
- ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
- the prayer
- wayu'tūna
- وَيُؤْتُونَ
- and give
- l-zakata
- ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
- zakah
- wahum
- وَهُم
- and they
- bil-ākhirati
- بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- in the Hereafter
- hum
- هُمْ
- [they]
- yūqinūna
- يُوقِنُونَ
- believe with certainty
Who establish prayer and give Zakah, and of the Hereafter they are certain [in faith]. (QS. [27] An-Naml: 3)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ اَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُوْنَ ۗ ٤
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yu'minūna
- يُؤْمِنُونَ
- believe
- bil-ākhirati
- بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- in the Hereafter
- zayyannā
- زَيَّنَّا
- We have made fair-seeming
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- to them
- aʿmālahum
- أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
- their deeds
- fahum
- فَهُمْ
- so they
- yaʿmahūna
- يَعْمَهُونَ
- wander blindly
Indeed, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have made pleasing to them their deeds, so they wander blindly. (QS. [27] An-Naml: 4)Tafsir
اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ لَهُمْ سُوْۤءُ الْعَذَابِ وَهُمْ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ هُمُ الْاَخْسَرُوْنَ ٥
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (are) the ones
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- sūu
- سُوٓءُ
- (is) an evil
- l-ʿadhābi
- ٱلْعَذَابِ
- [the] punishment
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- and they
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ākhirati
- ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- the Hereafter
- humu
- هُمُ
- [they]
- l-akhsarūna
- ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ
- (will be) the greatest losers
Those are the ones for whom there will be the worst of punishment, and in the Hereafter they are the greatest losers. (QS. [27] An-Naml: 5)Tafsir
وَاِنَّكَ لَتُلَقَّى الْقُرْاٰنَ مِنْ لَّدُنْ حَكِيْمٍ عَلِيْمٍ ٦
- wa-innaka
- وَإِنَّكَ
- And indeed, you
- latulaqqā
- لَتُلَقَّى
- surely, receive
- l-qur'āna
- ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
- the Quran
- min
- مِن
- from [near]
- ladun
- لَّدُنْ
- from [near]
- ḥakīmin
- حَكِيمٍ
- the All-Wise
- ʿalīmin
- عَلِيمٍ
- the All-Knower
And indeed, [O Muhammad], you receive the Quran from one Wise and Knowing. (QS. [27] An-Naml: 6)Tafsir
اِذْ قَالَ مُوْسٰى لِاَهْلِهٖٓ اِنِّيْٓ اٰنَسْتُ نَارًاۗ سَاٰتِيْكُمْ مِّنْهَا بِخَبَرٍ اَوْ اٰتِيْكُمْ بِشِهَابٍ قَبَسٍ لَّعَلَّكُمْ تَصْطَلُوْنَ ٧
- idh
- إِذْ
- When
- qāla
- قَالَ
- said
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰ
- Musa
- li-ahlihi
- لِأَهْلِهِۦٓ
- to his family
- innī
- إِنِّىٓ
- "Indeed I
- ānastu
- ءَانَسْتُ
- perceive
- nāran
- نَارًا
- a fire
- saātīkum
- سَـَٔاتِيكُم
- I will bring you
- min'hā
- مِّنْهَا
- from it
- bikhabarin
- بِخَبَرٍ
- some information
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- ātīkum
- ءَاتِيكُم
- I will bring you
- bishihābin
- بِشِهَابٍ
- a torch
- qabasin
- قَبَسٍ
- burning
- laʿallakum
- لَّعَلَّكُمْ
- so that you may
- taṣṭalūna
- تَصْطَلُونَ
- warm yourselves"
[Mention] when Moses said to his family, "Indeed, I have perceived a fire. I will bring you from there information or will bring you a burning torch that you may warm yourselves." (QS. [27] An-Naml: 7)Tafsir
فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَهَا نُوْدِيَ اَنْۢ بُوْرِكَ مَنْ فِى النَّارِ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَاۗ وَسُبْحٰنَ اللّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٨
- falammā
- فَلَمَّا
- But when
- jāahā
- جَآءَهَا
- he came to it
- nūdiya
- نُودِىَ
- he was called
- an
- أَنۢ
- [that]
- būrika
- بُورِكَ
- "Blessed is
- man
- مَن
- who
- fī
- فِى
- (is) at
- l-nāri
- ٱلنَّارِ
- the fire
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- and whoever
- ḥawlahā
- حَوْلَهَا
- (is) around it
- wasub'ḥāna
- وَسُبْحَٰنَ
- And glory be
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (to) Allah
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- (the) Lord
- l-ʿālamīna
- ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- (of) the worlds
But when he came to it, he was called, "Blessed is whoever is at the fire and whoever is around it. And exalted is Allah, Lord of the worlds. (QS. [27] An-Naml: 8)Tafsir
يٰمُوْسٰٓى اِنَّهٗٓ اَنَا اللّٰهُ الْعَزِيْزُ الْحَكِيْمُ ۙ ٩
- yāmūsā
- يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ
- O Musa!
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥٓ
- Indeed
- anā
- أَنَا
- I Am
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- l-ʿazīzu
- ٱلْعَزِيزُ
- the All-Mighty
- l-ḥakīmu
- ٱلْحَكِيمُ
- the All-Wise"
O Moses, indeed it is I – Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (QS. [27] An-Naml: 9)Tafsir
وَاَلْقِ عَصَاكَ ۗفَلَمَّا رَاٰهَا تَهْتَزُّ كَاَنَّهَا جَاۤنٌّ وَّلّٰى مُدْبِرًا وَّلَمْ يُعَقِّبْۗ يٰمُوْسٰى لَا تَخَفْۗ اِنِّيْ لَا يَخَافُ لَدَيَّ الْمُرْسَلُوْنَ ۖ ١٠
- wa-alqi
- وَأَلْقِ
- And Throw
- ʿaṣāka
- عَصَاكَۚ
- your staff"
- falammā
- فَلَمَّا
- But when
- raāhā
- رَءَاهَا
- he saw it
- tahtazzu
- تَهْتَزُّ
- moving
- ka-annahā
- كَأَنَّهَا
- as if it
- jānnun
- جَآنٌّ
- (were) a snake
- wallā
- وَلَّىٰ
- he turned back
- mud'biran
- مُدْبِرًا
- (in) flight
- walam
- وَلَمْ
- and (did) not
- yuʿaqqib
- يُعَقِّبْۚ
- look back
- yāmūsā
- يَٰمُوسَىٰ
- "O Musa!
- lā
- لَا
- (Do) not
- takhaf
- تَخَفْ
- fear
- innī
- إِنِّى
- Indeed [I]
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- yakhāfu
- يَخَافُ
- fear
- ladayya
- لَدَىَّ
- (in) My presence
- l-mur'salūna
- ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ
- the Messengers
And [he was told], "Throw down your staff." But when he saw it writhing as if it were a snake, he turned in flight and did not return. [Allah said], "O Moses, fear not. Indeed, in My presence the messengers do not fear. (QS. [27] An-Naml: 10)Tafsir
