Al-Qur'an Surah Ash-Shu'ara Verse 50

Ash-Shu'ara [26]: 50 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

قَالُوْا لَا ضَيْرَ ۖاِنَّآ اِلٰى رَبِّنَا مُنْقَلِبُوْنَ ۚ (الشعراء : ٢٦)

Transliteration:

Qaaloo la daira innaaa ilaa Rabbinaa munqalliboon (QS. aš-Šuʿarāʾ:50)

English / Sahih Translation:

They said, "No harm. Indeed, to our Lord we will return. (QS. Ash-Shu'ara, ayah 50)

Tafsir jalalayn

They said, `There is no harm [in that], no damage will be done to us thereby. Surely to our Lord, after we die, whichever way that may be, we shall return, in the Hereafter.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

قَالُوا لَاا ضَيْرَ

They said;No harm!

meaning, `no problem, that will not harm us and we do not care.'

إِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ



Surely, to our Lord we are to return.

means, `the return of us all is to Allah, may He be glorified, and He will never allow the reward of anyone who has done good to be lost. What you have done to us is not hidden from Him, and He will reward us in full for that.'

So they said
