Al-Qur'an Surah Ash-Shu'ara Verse 33
Ash-Shu'ara [26]: 33 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَنَزَعَ يَدَهٗ فَاِذَا هِيَ بَيْضَاۤءُ لِلنّٰظِرِيْنَ ࣖ (الشعراء : ٢٦)
- wanazaʿa
- وَنَزَعَ
- And he drew out
- yadahu
- يَدَهُۥ
- his hand
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَا
- and behold!
- hiya
- هِىَ
- It
- bayḍāu
- بَيْضَآءُ
- (was) white
- lilnnāẓirīna
- لِلنَّٰظِرِينَ
- for the observers
Transliteration:
Wa naza'a yadahoo faizaa hiya baidaaa'u linnaa zireen(QS. aš-Šuʿarāʾ:33)
English / Sahih Translation:
And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. (QS. Ash-Shu'ara, ayah 33)

Then he drew out his hand, he brought it out of his pocket, and lo! it was white, glowing, before the onlookers, and not its usual skin colour.

وَنَزَعَ يَدَهُ
And he (Musa) drew out his hand,
meaning, from his sleeve,
فَإِذَا هِيَ بَيْضَاء لِلنَّاظِرِينَ
and behold, it was white to all beholders!
It was shining like a piece of the moon
