اِنَّا نَطْمَعُ اَنْ يَّغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطٰيٰنَآ اَنْ كُنَّآ اَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۗ ࣖ ٥١
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed we
- naṭmaʿu
- نَطْمَعُ
- hope
- an
- أَن
- that
- yaghfira
- يَغْفِرَ
- will forgive
- lanā
- لَنَا
- us
- rabbunā
- رَبُّنَا
- our Lord
- khaṭāyānā
- خَطَٰيَٰنَآ
- our sins
- an
- أَن
- because
- kunnā
- كُنَّآ
- we are
- awwala
- أَوَّلَ
- (the) first
- l-mu'minīna
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- (of) the believers"
Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 51)Tafsir
52
۞ وَاَوْحَيْنَآ اِلٰى مُوْسٰٓى اَنْ اَسْرِ بِعِبَادِيْٓ اِنَّكُمْ مُّتَّبَعُوْنَ ٥٢
- wa-awḥaynā
- وَأَوْحَيْنَآ
- And We inspired
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- mūsā
- مُوسَىٰٓ
- Musa
- an
- أَنْ
- [that]
- asri
- أَسْرِ
- "Travel by night
- biʿibādī
- بِعِبَادِىٓ
- with My slaves
- innakum
- إِنَّكُم
- indeed you
- muttabaʿūna
- مُّتَّبَعُونَ
- (will be) followed"
And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 52)Tafsir
53
فَاَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى الْمَدَاۤىِٕنِ حٰشِرِيْنَ ۚ ٥٣
- fa-arsala
- فَأَرْسَلَ
- Then sent
- fir'ʿawnu
- فِرْعَوْنُ
- Firaun
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-madāini
- ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ
- the cities
- ḥāshirīna
- حَٰشِرِينَ
- gatherers
Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 53)Tafsir
54
اِنَّ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيْلُوْنَۙ ٥٤
- inna
- إِنَّ
- "Indeed
- hāulāi
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- these
- lashir'dhimatun
- لَشِرْذِمَةٌ
- (are) certainly a band
- qalīlūna
- قَلِيلُونَ
- small
[And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 54)Tafsir
55
وَاِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَاۤىِٕظُوْنَ ۙ ٥٥
- wa-innahum
- وَإِنَّهُمْ
- And indeed, they
- lanā
- لَنَا
- [to] us
- laghāiẓūna
- لَغَآئِظُونَ
- (are) surely enraging
And indeed, they are enraging us, (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 55)Tafsir
56
وَاِنَّا لَجَمِيْعٌ حٰذِرُوْنَ ۗ ٥٦
- wa-innā
- وَإِنَّا
- And indeed we
- lajamīʿun
- لَجَمِيعٌ
- (are) surely a multitude
- ḥādhirūna
- حَٰذِرُونَ
- forewarned"
And indeed, we are a cautious society..." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 56)Tafsir
57
فَاَخْرَجْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ جَنّٰتٍ وَّعُيُوْنٍ ۙ ٥٧
- fa-akhrajnāhum
- فَأَخْرَجْنَٰهُم
- So We expelled them
- min
- مِّن
- from
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- gardens
- waʿuyūnin
- وَعُيُونٍ
- and springs
So We removed them from gardens and springs (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 57)Tafsir
58
وَّكُنُوْزٍ وَّمَقَامٍ كَرِيْمٍ ۙ ٥٨
- wakunūzin
- وَكُنُوزٍ
- And treasures
- wamaqāmin
- وَمَقَامٍ
- and a place
- karīmin
- كَرِيمٍ
- honorable
And treasures and honorable station. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 58)Tafsir
59
كَذٰلِكَۚ وَاَوْرَثْنٰهَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ ۗ ٥٩
- kadhālika
- كَذَٰلِكَ
- Thus
- wa-awrathnāhā
- وَأَوْرَثْنَٰهَا
- And We caused to inherit them
- banī
- بَنِىٓ
- (the) Children of Israel
- is'rāīla
- إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
- (the) Children of Israel
Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 59)Tafsir
60
فَاَتْبَعُوْهُمْ مُّشْرِقِيْنَ ٦٠
- fa-atbaʿūhum
- فَأَتْبَعُوهُم
- So they followed them
- mush'riqīna
- مُّشْرِقِينَ
- (at) sunrise
So they pursued them at sunrise. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 60)Tafsir
