هَلْ اُنَبِّئُكُمْ عَلٰى مَنْ تَنَزَّلُ الشَّيٰطِيْنُ ۗ ٢٢١
- hal
- هَلْ
- Shall
- unabbi-ukum
- أُنَبِّئُكُمْ
- I inform you
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- upon
- man
- مَن
- whom
- tanazzalu
- تَنَزَّلُ
- descend
- l-shayāṭīnu
- ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ
- the devils?
Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 221)Tafsir

تَنَزَّلُ عَلٰى كُلِّ اَفَّاكٍ اَثِيْمٍ ۙ ٢٢٢
- tanazzalu
- تَنَزَّلُ
- They descend
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- upon
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- affākin
- أَفَّاكٍ
- liar
- athīmin
- أَثِيمٍ
- sinful
They descend upon every sinful liar. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 222)Tafsir
223
يُّلْقُوْنَ السَّمْعَ وَاَكْثَرُهُمْ كٰذِبُوْنَ ۗ ٢٢٣
- yul'qūna
- يُلْقُونَ
- They pass on
- l-samʿa
- ٱلسَّمْعَ
- (what is) heard
- wa-aktharuhum
- وَأَكْثَرُهُمْ
- and most of them
- kādhibūna
- كَٰذِبُونَ
- (are) liars
They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 223)Tafsir
224
وَالشُّعَرَاۤءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ الْغَاوٗنَ ۗ ٢٢٤
- wal-shuʿarāu
- وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ
- And the poets -
- yattabiʿuhumu
- يَتَّبِعُهُمُ
- follow them
- l-ghāwūna
- ٱلْغَاوُۥنَ
- the deviators
And the poets – [only] the deviators follow them; (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 224)Tafsir

اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّهُمْ فِيْ كُلِّ وَادٍ يَّهِيْمُوْنَ ۙ ٢٢٥
- alam
- أَلَمْ
- Do not
- tara
- تَرَ
- you see
- annahum
- أَنَّهُمْ
- that they
- fī
- فِى
- in
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- wādin
- وَادٍ
- valley
- yahīmūna
- يَهِيمُونَ
- [they] roam
Do you not see that in every valley they roam (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 225)Tafsir
226
وَاَنَّهُمْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ مَا لَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ ۙ ٢٢٦
- wa-annahum
- وَأَنَّهُمْ
- And that they
- yaqūlūna
- يَقُولُونَ
- say
- mā
- مَا
- what
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yafʿalūna
- يَفْعَلُونَ
- they do?
And that they say what they do not do? (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 226)Tafsir
227
اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَذَكَرُوا اللّٰهَ كَثِيْرًا وَّانْتَصَرُوْا مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوْا ۗوَسَيَعْلَمُ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوْٓا اَيَّ مُنْقَلَبٍ يَّنْقَلِبُوْنَ ࣖ ٢٢٧
- illā
- إِلَّا
- Except
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and do
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- righteous deeds
- wadhakarū
- وَذَكَرُوا۟
- and remember
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- kathīran
- كَثِيرًا
- much
- wa-intaṣarū
- وَٱنتَصَرُوا۟
- and defend themselves
- min
- مِنۢ
- after
- baʿdi
- بَعْدِ
- after
- mā
- مَا
- after
- ẓulimū
- ظُلِمُوا۟ۗ
- they were wronged
- wasayaʿlamu
- وَسَيَعْلَمُ
- And will come to know
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ẓalamū
- ظَلَمُوٓا۟
- have wronged
- ayya
- أَىَّ
- (to) what
- munqalabin
- مُنقَلَبٍ
- return
- yanqalibūna
- يَنقَلِبُونَ
- they will return
Except those [poets] who believe and do righteous deeds and remember Allah often and defend [the Muslims] after they were wronged. And those who have wronged are going to know to what [kind of] return they will be returned. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 227)Tafsir
