211
وَمَا يَنْۢبَغِيْ لَهُمْ وَمَا يَسْتَطِيْعُوْنَ ۗ ٢١١
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- yanbaghī
- يَنۢبَغِى
- (it) suits
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- [for] them
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- yastaṭīʿūna
- يَسْتَطِيعُونَ
- they are able
It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 211)Tafsir
212
اِنَّهُمْ عَنِ السَّمْعِ لَمَعْزُوْلُوْنَ ۗ ٢١٢
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed they
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- from
- l-samʿi
- ٱلسَّمْعِ
- the hearing
- lamaʿzūlūna
- لَمَعْزُولُونَ
- (are) surely banished
Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 212)Tafsir
213
فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ فَتَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُعَذَّبِيْنَ ٢١٣
- falā
- فَلَا
- So (do) not
- tadʿu
- تَدْعُ
- invoke
- maʿa
- مَعَ
- with
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- ilāhan
- إِلَٰهًا
- god
- ākhara
- ءَاخَرَ
- another
- fatakūna
- فَتَكُونَ
- lest you be
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-muʿadhabīna
- ٱلْمُعَذَّبِينَ
- those punished
So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 213)Tafsir
214
وَاَنْذِرْ عَشِيْرَتَكَ الْاَقْرَبِيْنَ ۙ ٢١٤
- wa-andhir
- وَأَنذِرْ
- And warn
- ʿashīrataka
- عَشِيرَتَكَ
- your kindred
- l-aqrabīna
- ٱلْأَقْرَبِينَ
- [the] closest
And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 214)Tafsir
215
وَاخْفِضْ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ۚ ٢١٥
- wa-ikh'fiḍ
- وَٱخْفِضْ
- And lower
- janāḥaka
- جَنَاحَكَ
- your wing
- limani
- لِمَنِ
- to (those) who
- ittabaʿaka
- ٱتَّبَعَكَ
- follow you
- mina
- مِنَ
- of
- l-mu'minīna
- ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
- the believers
And lower your wing [i.e., show kindness] to those who follow you of the believers. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 215)Tafsir
216
فَاِنْ عَصَوْكَ فَقُلْ اِنِّيْ بَرِيْۤءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْمَلُوْنَ ۚ ٢١٦
- fa-in
- فَإِنْ
- Then if
- ʿaṣawka
- عَصَوْكَ
- they disobey you
- faqul
- فَقُلْ
- then say
- innī
- إِنِّى
- "Indeed I am
- barīon
- بَرِىٓءٌ
- innocent
- mimmā
- مِّمَّا
- of what
- taʿmalūna
- تَعْمَلُونَ
- you do"
And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 216)Tafsir
217
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْعَزِيْزِ الرَّحِيْمِ ۙ ٢١٧
- watawakkal
- وَتَوَكَّلْ
- And put (your) trust
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- in
- l-ʿazīzi
- ٱلْعَزِيزِ
- the All-Mighty
- l-raḥīmi
- ٱلرَّحِيمِ
- the Most Merciful
And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 217)Tafsir
218
الَّذِيْ يَرٰىكَ حِيْنَ تَقُوْمُ ٢١٨
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- The One Who
- yarāka
- يَرَىٰكَ
- sees you
- ḥīna
- حِينَ
- when
- taqūmu
- تَقُومُ
- you stand up
Who sees you when you arise. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 218)Tafsir
219
وَتَقَلُّبَكَ فِى السّٰجِدِيْنَ ٢١٩
- wataqallubaka
- وَتَقَلُّبَكَ
- And your movements
- fī
- فِى
- among
- l-sājidīna
- ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَ
- those who prostrate
And your movement among those who prostrate. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 219)Tafsir
220
اِنَّهٗ هُوَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ ٢٢٠
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- l-samīʿu
- ٱلسَّمِيعُ
- (is) the All-Hearer
- l-ʿalīmu
- ٱلْعَلِيمُ
- the All-Knower
Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. (QS. [26] Ash-Shu'ara: 220)Tafsir
