وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِيْ كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَّذِيْرًا ۖ ٥١
- walaw
- وَلَوْ
- And if
- shi'nā
- شِئْنَا
- We willed
- labaʿathnā
- لَبَعَثْنَا
- surely We (would) have raised
- fī
- فِى
- in
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- qaryatin
- قَرْيَةٍ
- town
- nadhīran
- نَّذِيرًا
- a warner
And if We had willed, We could have sent into every city a warner. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 51)Tafsir
فَلَا تُطِعِ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ وَجَاهِدْهُمْ بِهٖ جِهَادًا كَبِيْرًا ٥٢
- falā
- فَلَا
- So (do) not
- tuṭiʿi
- تُطِعِ
- obey
- l-kāfirīna
- ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
- the disbelievers
- wajāhid'hum
- وَجَٰهِدْهُم
- and strive (against) them
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- with it
- jihādan
- جِهَادًا
- a striving
- kabīran
- كَبِيرًا
- great
So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with it [i.e., the Quran] a great striving. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 52)Tafsir
۞ وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ هٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَّهٰذَا مِلْحٌ اُجَاجٌۚ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَّحِجْرًا مَّحْجُوْرًا ٥٣
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- maraja
- مَرَجَ
- (has) released
- l-baḥrayni
- ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ
- the two seas
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- [this] (one)
- ʿadhbun
- عَذْبٌ
- palatable
- furātun
- فُرَاتٌ
- and sweet
- wahādhā
- وَهَٰذَا
- and [this] (one)
- mil'ḥun
- مِلْحٌ
- salty
- ujājun
- أُجَاجٌ
- (and) bitter
- wajaʿala
- وَجَعَلَ
- and He has made
- baynahumā
- بَيْنَهُمَا
- between them
- barzakhan
- بَرْزَخًا
- a barrier
- waḥij'ran
- وَحِجْرًا
- and a partition
- maḥjūran
- مَّحْجُورًا
- forbidden
And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas [i.e., bodies of water], one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 53)Tafsir
وَهُوَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ مِنَ الْمَاۤءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهٗ نَسَبًا وَّصِهْرًاۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيْرًا ٥٤
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- And He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- (is) the One Who
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- has created
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-māi
- ٱلْمَآءِ
- the water
- basharan
- بَشَرًا
- human being
- fajaʿalahu
- فَجَعَلَهُۥ
- and has made (for) him
- nasaban
- نَسَبًا
- blood relationship
- waṣih'ran
- وَصِهْرًاۗ
- and marriage relationship
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- rabbuka
- رَبُّكَ
- your Lord
- qadīran
- قَدِيرًا
- All-Powerful
And it is He who has created from water [i.e., semen] a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation]. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 54)Tafsir
وَيَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُهُمْ وَلَا يَضُرُّهُمْۗ وَكَانَ الْكَافِرُ عَلٰى رَبِّهٖ ظَهِيْرًا ٥٥
- wayaʿbudūna
- وَيَعْبُدُونَ
- But they worship
- min
- مِن
- besides Allah
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- besides Allah
- mā
- مَا
- what
- lā
- لَا
- not profits them
- yanfaʿuhum
- يَنفَعُهُمْ
- not profits them
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- yaḍurruhum
- يَضُرُّهُمْۗ
- harms them
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- and is
- l-kāfiru
- ٱلْكَافِرُ
- the disbeliever
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- against
- rabbihi
- رَبِّهِۦ
- his Lord
- ẓahīran
- ظَهِيرًا
- a helper
But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan]. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 55)Tafsir
وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ اِلَّا مُبَشِّرًا وَّنَذِيْرًا ٥٦
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- And not
- arsalnāka
- أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ
- We sent you
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- mubashiran
- مُبَشِّرًا
- (as) a bearer of glad tidings
- wanadhīran
- وَنَذِيرًا
- and a warner
And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 56)Tafsir
قُلْ مَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ اَجْرٍ اِلَّا مَنْ شَاۤءَ اَنْ يَّتَّخِذَ اِلٰى رَبِّهٖ سَبِيْلًا ٥٧
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- mā
- مَآ
- "Not
- asalukum
- أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ
- I ask (of) you
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- for it
- min
- مِنْ
- any
- ajrin
- أَجْرٍ
- payment
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- man
- مَن
- (that) whoever wills
- shāa
- شَآءَ
- (that) whoever wills
- an
- أَن
- to
- yattakhidha
- يَتَّخِذَ
- take
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- rabbihi
- رَبِّهِۦ
- his Lord
- sabīlan
- سَبِيلًا
- a way"
Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment – only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way." (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 57)Tafsir
وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى الْحَيِّ الَّذِيْ لَا يَمُوْتُ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِهٖۗ وَكَفٰى بِهٖ بِذُنُوْبِ عِبَادِهٖ خَبِيْرًا ۚ ٥٨
- watawakkal
- وَتَوَكَّلْ
- And put your trust
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- in
- l-ḥayi
- ٱلْحَىِّ
- the Ever-Living
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- the One Who
- lā
- لَا
- does not die
- yamūtu
- يَمُوتُ
- does not die
- wasabbiḥ
- وَسَبِّحْ
- and glorify
- biḥamdihi
- بِحَمْدِهِۦۚ
- with His Praise
- wakafā
- وَكَفَىٰ
- And sufficient is
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- He
- bidhunūbi
- بِذُنُوبِ
- regarding the sins
- ʿibādihi
- عِبَادِهِۦ
- (of) His slaves
- khabīran
- خَبِيرًا
- All-Aware
And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, [fully] Aware. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 58)Tafsir
اَلَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِيْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوٰى عَلَى الْعَرْشِۚ اَلرَّحْمٰنُ فَسْـَٔلْ بِهٖ خَبِيْرًا ٥٩
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- The One Who
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- created
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍa
- وَٱلْأَرْضَ
- and the earth
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- baynahumā
- بَيْنَهُمَا
- (is) between them
- fī
- فِى
- in
- sittati
- سِتَّةِ
- six
- ayyāmin
- أَيَّامٍ
- periods
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- is'tawā
- ٱسْتَوَىٰ
- He established Himself
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- over
- l-ʿarshi
- ٱلْعَرْشِۚ
- the Throne -
- l-raḥmānu
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
- the Most Gracious
- fasal
- فَسْـَٔلْ
- so ask
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- Him
- khabīran
- خَبِيرًا
- (as He is) All-Aware
He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne – the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed [i.e., the Prophet]. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 59)Tafsir
وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمُ اسْجُدُوْا لِلرَّحْمٰنِ قَالُوْا وَمَا الرَّحْمٰنُ اَنَسْجُدُ لِمَا تَأْمُرُنَا وَزَادَهُمْ نُفُوْرًا ۩ ࣖ ٦٠
- wa-idhā
- وَإِذَا
- And when
- qīla
- قِيلَ
- it is said
- lahumu
- لَهُمُ
- to them
- us'judū
- ٱسْجُدُوا۟
- "Prostrate
- lilrraḥmāni
- لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ
- to the Most Gracious"
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- They say
- wamā
- وَمَا
- "And what
- l-raḥmānu
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
- (is) the Most Gracious?
- anasjudu
- أَنَسْجُدُ
- Should we prostrate
- limā
- لِمَا
- to what
- tamurunā
- تَأْمُرُنَا
- you order us?"
- wazādahum
- وَزَادَهُمْ
- And it increases them
- nufūran
- نُفُورًا۩
- (in) aversion
And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion. (QS. [25] Al-Furqan: 60)Tafsir
