Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mu'minun Verse 116
Al-Mu'minun [23]: 116 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
فَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّۚ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيْمِ (المؤمنون : ٢٣)

Transliteration:
Fata'aalal laahul Malikul Haqq; laaa ilaaha illaa Huwa Rabbul 'Arshil Kareem(QS. al-Muʾminūn:116)
English / Sahih Translation:
So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. (QS. Al-Mu'minun, ayah 116)

Tafsir jalalayn
So exalted be God, above aimless action and other such things that do not befit Him, the King, the Truth! There is no god except Him, the Lord of the Noble Throne (`arsh), the throne (kurs), which is a seat [similar to a king's] that is exquisite.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
فَتَعَالَى اللَّهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ
So Exalted be Allah, the True King.
means, sanctified be He above the idea that he should create anything in vain, for He is the True King Who is far above doing such a thing.
لَاا إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Lord of Al-`Arsh Al-Karim!
The Throne is mentioned because it is the highest point of all creation, and it is described as Karim, meaning beautiful in appearance and splendid in form, as Allah says elsewhere;
أَنبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ
every good kind We cause to grow therein. (26;7
