Al-Mu'minun [23]: 109 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ ۚ (المؤمنون : ٢٣)

innahu
إِنَّهُۥ
Indeed

farīqun
فَرِيقٌ
a party
min
مِّنْ

ʿibādī
عِبَادِى
My slaves
yaqūlūna
يَقُولُونَ
(who) said
rabbanā
رَبَّنَآ
"Our Lord!
āmannā
ءَامَنَّا
We believe
fa-igh'fir
فَٱغْفِرْ
so forgive
lanā
لَنَا
us
wa-ir'ḥamnā
وَٱرْحَمْنَا
and have mercy on us
wa-anta
وَأَنتَ
and You
khayru
خَيْرُ
(are) best
l-rāḥimīna
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
(of) those who show mercy

Transliteration:

Innahoo kaana fareequm min 'ibaadee yaqooloona Rabbanaaa aamannaa faghfir lanaa warhamnaa wa Anta khairur raahimeen (QS. al-Muʾminūn:109)

English / Sahih Translation:

Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' (QS. Al-Mu'minun, ayah 109)

There was indeed a group of My servants who used to say, ‘Our Lord, we adhere to the (true) faith, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and you are the best of all the merciful.’
