Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Mu'minun Verse 103
Al-Mu'minun [23]: 103 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِيْنُهٗ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ خَسِرُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ فِيْ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدُوْنَ ۚ (المؤمنون : ٢٣)
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- But (the one) whose
- khaffat
- خَفَّتْ
- (are) light
- mawāzīnuhu
- مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
- his scales
- fa-ulāika
- فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- then those
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- they [who]
- khasirū
- خَسِرُوٓا۟
- have lost
- anfusahum
- أَنفُسَهُمْ
- their souls
- fī
- فِى
- in
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- Hell
- khālidūna
- خَٰلِدُونَ
- they (will) abide forever
Transliteration:
Wa man khaffat mawaa zeenuhoo fa ulaaa'ikal lazeena khasiroon anfusahum fee Jahannnama khaalidoon(QS. al-Muʾminūn:103)
English / Sahih Translation:
But those whose scales are light – those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. (QS. Al-Mu'minun, ayah 103)

and those whose scales are light, because of evil deeds, they are the ones who have lost their souls, and so they will be, abiding in Hell.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِينُهُ
And those whose Scales are light,
means, their evil deeds outweigh their good deeds.
فَأُوْلَيِكَ الَّذِينَ خَسِرُوا أَنفُسَهُمْ
they are those who lose themselves,
means, they are doomed and have ended up with the worst deal.
Allah says;
فِي جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ
in Hell will they abide.
meaning, they will stay there forever and will never leave
