11
الَّذِيْنَ يَرِثُوْنَ الْفِرْدَوْسَۗ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ١١
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Who
- yarithūna
- يَرِثُونَ
- will inherit
- l-fir'dawsa
- ٱلْفِرْدَوْسَ
- the Paradise
- hum
- هُمْ
- They
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- khālidūna
- خَٰلِدُونَ
- (will) abide forever
Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 11)Tafsir
12
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ سُلٰلَةٍ مِّنْ طِيْنٍ ۚ ١٢
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And indeed
- khalaqnā
- خَلَقْنَا
- We created
- l-insāna
- ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ
- the humankind
- min
- مِن
- from
- sulālatin
- سُلَٰلَةٍ
- an essence
- min
- مِّن
- of
- ṭīnin
- طِينٍ
- clay
And certainly did We create man from an extract of clay. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 12)Tafsir
13
ثُمَّ جَعَلْنٰهُ نُطْفَةً فِيْ قَرَارٍ مَّكِيْنٍ ۖ ١٣
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- jaʿalnāhu
- جَعَلْنَٰهُ
- We placed him
- nuṭ'fatan
- نُطْفَةً
- (as) a semen-drop
- fī
- فِى
- in
- qarārin
- قَرَارٍ
- a resting place
- makīnin
- مَّكِينٍ
- firm
Then We placed him as a sperm-drop in a firm lodging [i.e., the womb]. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 13)Tafsir
14
ثُمَّ خَلَقْنَا النُّطْفَةَ عَلَقَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْعَلَقَةَ مُضْغَةً فَخَلَقْنَا الْمُضْغَةَ عِظٰمًا فَكَسَوْنَا الْعِظٰمَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ اَنْشَأْنٰهُ خَلْقًا اٰخَرَۗ فَتَبَارَكَ اللّٰهُ اَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِيْنَۗ ١٤
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- khalaqnā
- خَلَقْنَا
- We created
- l-nuṭ'fata
- ٱلنُّطْفَةَ
- the semen-drop
- ʿalaqatan
- عَلَقَةً
- (into) a clinging substance
- fakhalaqnā
- فَخَلَقْنَا
- then We created
- l-ʿalaqata
- ٱلْعَلَقَةَ
- the clinging substance
- muḍ'ghatan
- مُضْغَةً
- (into) an embryonic lump
- fakhalaqnā
- فَخَلَقْنَا
- then We created
- l-muḍ'ghata
- ٱلْمُضْغَةَ
- the embryonic lump
- ʿiẓāman
- عِظَٰمًا
- (into) bones
- fakasawnā
- فَكَسَوْنَا
- then We clothed
- l-ʿiẓāma
- ٱلْعِظَٰمَ
- the bones
- laḥman
- لَحْمًا
- (with) flesh;
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- anshanāhu
- أَنشَأْنَٰهُ
- We produce it
- khalqan
- خَلْقًا
- (as) a creation
- ākhara
- ءَاخَرَۚ
- another
- fatabāraka
- فَتَبَارَكَ
- So blessed is
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- aḥsanu
- أَحْسَنُ
- (the) Best
- l-khāliqīna
- ٱلْخَٰلِقِينَ
- (of) the Creators
Then We made the sperm-drop into a clinging clot, and We made the clot into a lump [of flesh], and We made [from] the lump, bones, and We covered the bones with flesh; then We developed him into another creation. So blessed is Allah, the best of creators. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 14)Tafsir
15
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ لَمَيِّتُوْنَ ۗ ١٥
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- innakum
- إِنَّكُم
- indeed you
- baʿda
- بَعْدَ
- after
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- that
- lamayyitūna
- لَمَيِّتُونَ
- surely (will) die
Then indeed, after that you are to die. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 15)Tafsir
16
ثُمَّ اِنَّكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ تُبْعَثُوْنَ ١٦
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- innakum
- إِنَّكُمْ
- indeed you
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (on the) Day
- l-qiyāmati
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
- (of) the Resurrection
- tub'ʿathūna
- تُبْعَثُونَ
- will be resurrected
((16 Then indeed you, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 16)Tafsir
17
وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْعَ طَرَاۤىِٕقَۖ وَمَا كُنَّا عَنِ الْخَلْقِ غٰفِلِيْنَ ١٧
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And indeed
- khalaqnā
- خَلَقْنَا
- We (have) created
- fawqakum
- فَوْقَكُمْ
- above you
- sabʿa
- سَبْعَ
- seven
- ṭarāiqa
- طَرَآئِقَ
- paths
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- We are
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- of
- l-khalqi
- ٱلْخَلْقِ
- the creation
- ghāfilīna
- غَٰفِلِينَ
- unaware
And We have created above you seven layered heavens, and never have We been of [Our] creation unaware. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 17)Tafsir
18
وَاَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءًۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَاَسْكَنّٰهُ فِى الْاَرْضِۖ وَاِنَّا عَلٰى ذَهَابٍۢ بِهٖ لَقٰدِرُوْنَ ۚ ١٨
- wa-anzalnā
- وَأَنزَلْنَا
- And We send down
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- māan
- مَآءًۢ
- water
- biqadarin
- بِقَدَرٍ
- in (due) measure
- fa-askannāhu
- فَأَسْكَنَّٰهُ
- then We cause it to settle
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِۖ
- the earth
- wa-innā
- وَإِنَّا
- And indeed, We
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- dhahābin
- ذَهَابٍۭ
- taking it away
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- taking it away
- laqādirūna
- لَقَٰدِرُونَ
- surely (are) Able
And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 18)Tafsir
19
فَاَنْشَأْنَا لَكُمْ بِهٖ جَنّٰتٍ مِّنْ نَّخِيْلٍ وَّاَعْنَابٍۘ لَكُمْ فِيْهَا فَوَاكِهُ كَثِيْرَةٌ وَّمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ ۙ ١٩
- fa-anshanā
- فَأَنشَأْنَا
- Then We produced
- lakum
- لَكُم
- for you
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- by it
- jannātin
- جَنَّٰتٍ
- gardens
- min
- مِّن
- of date-palms
- nakhīlin
- نَّخِيلٍ
- of date-palms
- wa-aʿnābin
- وَأَعْنَٰبٍ
- and grapevines
- lakum
- لَّكُمْ
- for you
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- in it
- fawākihu
- فَوَٰكِهُ
- (are) fruits
- kathīratun
- كَثِيرَةٌ
- abundant
- wamin'hā
- وَمِنْهَا
- and from them
- takulūna
- تَأْكُلُونَ
- you eat
And We brought forth for you thereby gardens of palm trees and grapevines in which for you are abundant fruits and from which you eat. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 19)Tafsir
20
وَشَجَرَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ طُوْرِ سَيْنَاۤءَ تَنْۢبُتُ بِالدُّهْنِ وَصِبْغٍ لِّلْاٰكِلِيْنَ ٢٠
- washajaratan
- وَشَجَرَةً
- And a tree
- takhruju
- تَخْرُجُ
- (that) springs forth
- min
- مِن
- from
- ṭūri
- طُورِ
- Mount Sinai
- saynāa
- سَيْنَآءَ
- Mount Sinai
- tanbutu
- تَنۢبُتُ
- (which) produces
- bil-duh'ni
- بِٱلدُّهْنِ
- oil
- waṣib'ghin
- وَصِبْغٍ
- and a relish
- lil'ākilīna
- لِّلْءَاكِلِينَ
- for those who eat
And [We brought forth] a tree issuing from Mount Sinai which produces oil and food [i.e., olives] for those who eat. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 20)Tafsir
