111
اِنِّيْ جَزَيْتُهُمُ الْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوْٓاۙ اَنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْفَاۤىِٕزُوْنَ ١١١
- innī
- إِنِّى
- Indeed I
- jazaytuhumu
- جَزَيْتُهُمُ
- have rewarded them
- l-yawma
- ٱلْيَوْمَ
- this Day
- bimā
- بِمَا
- because
- ṣabarū
- صَبَرُوٓا۟
- they were patient
- annahum
- أَنَّهُمْ
- indeed they
- humu
- هُمُ
- [they]
- l-fāizūna
- ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ
- (are) the successful ones
Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance – that they are the attainers [of success]." (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 111)Tafsir
112
قٰلَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِيْنَ ١١٢
- qāla
- قَٰلَ
- He will say
- kam
- كَمْ
- "How long
- labith'tum
- لَبِثْتُمْ
- did you remain
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- ʿadada
- عَدَدَ
- (in) number
- sinīna
- سِنِينَ
- (of) years?"
[Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 112)Tafsir
113
قَالُوْا لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا اَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَسْـَٔلِ الْعَاۤدِّيْنَ ١١٣
- qālū
- قَالُوا۟
- They will say
- labith'nā
- لَبِثْنَا
- "We remained
- yawman
- يَوْمًا
- a day
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- baʿḍa
- بَعْضَ
- a part
- yawmin
- يَوْمٍ
- (of) a day;
- fasali
- فَسْـَٔلِ
- but ask
- l-ʿādīna
- ٱلْعَآدِّينَ
- those who keep count"
They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 113)Tafsir
114
قٰلَ اِنْ لَّبِثْتُمْ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا لَّوْ اَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ ١١٤
- qāla
- قَٰلَ
- He will say
- in
- إِن
- "Not
- labith'tum
- لَّبِثْتُمْ
- you stayed
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- qalīlan
- قَلِيلًاۖ
- a little
- law
- لَّوْ
- if
- annakum
- أَنَّكُمْ
- only you
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- [you]
- taʿlamūna
- تَعْلَمُونَ
- knew
He will say, "You stayed not but a little – if only you had known. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 114)Tafsir
115
اَفَحَسِبْتُمْ اَنَّمَا خَلَقْنٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَّاَنَّكُمْ اِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُوْنَ ١١٥
- afaḥasib'tum
- أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ
- Then did you think
- annamā
- أَنَّمَا
- that
- khalaqnākum
- خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ
- We created you
- ʿabathan
- عَبَثًا
- uselessly
- wa-annakum
- وَأَنَّكُمْ
- and that you
- ilaynā
- إِلَيْنَا
- to Us
- lā
- لَا
- not
- tur'jaʿūna
- تُرْجَعُونَ
- will be returned?"
Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 115)Tafsir
116
فَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّۚ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيْمِ ١١٦
- fataʿālā
- فَتَعَٰلَى
- So exalted is
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- l-maliku
- ٱلْمَلِكُ
- the King
- l-ḥaqu
- ٱلْحَقُّۖ
- the Truth
- lā
- لَآ
- (There is) no
- ilāha
- إِلَٰهَ
- god
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- huwa
- هُوَ
- Him
- rabbu
- رَبُّ
- (the) Lord
- l-ʿarshi
- ٱلْعَرْشِ
- (of) the Throne
- l-karīmi
- ٱلْكَرِيمِ
- Honorable
So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 116)Tafsir
117
وَمَنْ يَّدْعُ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ لَا بُرْهَانَ لَهٗ بِهٖۙ فَاِنَّمَا حِسَابُهٗ عِنْدَ رَبِّهٖۗ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُفْلِحُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ١١٧
- waman
- وَمَن
- And whoever
- yadʿu
- يَدْعُ
- invokes
- maʿa
- مَعَ
- with
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- ilāhan
- إِلَٰهًا
- god
- ākhara
- ءَاخَرَ
- other
- lā
- لَا
- no
- bur'hāna
- بُرْهَٰنَ
- proof
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- in it
- fa-innamā
- فَإِنَّمَا
- Then only
- ḥisābuhu
- حِسَابُهُۥ
- his account
- ʿinda
- عِندَ
- (is) with
- rabbihi
- رَبِّهِۦٓۚ
- his Lord
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed [he]
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yuf'liḥu
- يُفْلِحُ
- will succeed
- l-kāfirūna
- ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
- the disbelievers
And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof – then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 117)Tafsir
118
وَقُلْ رَّبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ ࣖ ١١٨
- waqul
- وَقُل
- And say
- rabbi
- رَّبِّ
- "My Lord!
- igh'fir
- ٱغْفِرْ
- Forgive
- wa-ir'ḥam
- وَٱرْحَمْ
- and have mercy
- wa-anta
- وَأَنتَ
- and You
- khayru
- خَيْرُ
- (are the) Best
- l-rāḥimīna
- ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
- (of) those who show mercy
And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 118)Tafsir
