فَاِذَا نُفِخَ فِى الصُّوْرِ فَلَآ اَنْسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ وَّلَا يَتَسَاۤءَلُوْنَ ١٠١
- fa-idhā
 - فَإِذَا
 - So when
 
- nufikha
 - نُفِخَ
 - is blown
 
- fī
 - فِى
 - in
 
- l-ṣūri
 - ٱلصُّورِ
 - the trumpet
 
- falā
 - فَلَآ
 - then not
 
- ansāba
 - أَنسَابَ
 - (there) will be relationship
 
- baynahum
 - بَيْنَهُمْ
 - among them
 
- yawma-idhin
 - يَوْمَئِذٍ
 - that Day
 
- walā
 - وَلَا
 - and not
 
- yatasāalūna
 - يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
 - will they ask each other
 
So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 101)Tafsir
فَمَنْ ثَقُلَتْ مَوَازِيْنُهٗ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُوْنَ ١٠٢
- faman
 - فَمَن
 - Then (the one) whose
 
- thaqulat
 - ثَقُلَتْ
 - (are) heavy
 
- mawāzīnuhu
 - مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
 - his scales
 
- fa-ulāika
 - فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
 - then those -
 
- humu
 - هُمُ
 - they
 
- l-muf'liḥūna
 - ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
 - (are) the successful
 
And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] – it is they who are the successful. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 102)Tafsir
وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَازِيْنُهٗ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ خَسِرُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ فِيْ جَهَنَّمَ خٰلِدُوْنَ ۚ ١٠٣
- waman
 - وَمَنْ
 - But (the one) whose
 
- khaffat
 - خَفَّتْ
 - (are) light
 
- mawāzīnuhu
 - مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
 - his scales
 
- fa-ulāika
 - فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
 - then those
 
- alladhīna
 - ٱلَّذِينَ
 - they [who]
 
- khasirū
 - خَسِرُوٓا۟
 - have lost
 
- anfusahum
 - أَنفُسَهُمْ
 - their souls
 
- fī
 - فِى
 - in
 
- jahannama
 - جَهَنَّمَ
 - Hell
 
- khālidūna
 - خَٰلِدُونَ
 - they (will) abide forever
 
But those whose scales are light – those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 103)Tafsir
تَلْفَحُ وُجُوْهَهُمُ النَّارُ وَهُمْ فِيْهَا كَالِحُوْنَ ١٠٤
- talfaḥu
 - تَلْفَحُ
 - Will burn
 
- wujūhahumu
 - وُجُوهَهُمُ
 - their faces
 
- l-nāru
 - ٱلنَّارُ
 - the Fire
 
- wahum
 - وَهُمْ
 - and they
 
- fīhā
 - فِيهَا
 - in it
 
- kāliḥūna
 - كَٰلِحُونَ
 - (will) grin with displaced lips
 
The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 104)Tafsir
اَلَمْ تَكُنْ اٰيٰتِيْ تُتْلٰى عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنْتُمْ بِهَا تُكَذِّبُوْنَ ١٠٥
- alam
 - أَلَمْ
 - "Were not
 
- takun
 - تَكُنْ
 - "Were not
 
- āyātī
 - ءَايَٰتِى
 - My Verses
 
- tut'lā
 - تُتْلَىٰ
 - recited
 
- ʿalaykum
 - عَلَيْكُمْ
 - to you
 
- fakuntum
 - فَكُنتُم
 - and you used (to)
 
- bihā
 - بِهَا
 - deny them?"
 
- tukadhibūna
 - تُكَذِّبُونَ
 - deny them?"
 
[It will be said], "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 105)Tafsir
قَالُوْا رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًا ضَاۤلِّيْنَ ١٠٦
- qālū
 - قَالُوا۟
 - They (will) say
 
- rabbanā
 - رَبَّنَا
 - "Our Lord!
 
- ghalabat
 - غَلَبَتْ
 - Overcame
 
- ʿalaynā
 - عَلَيْنَا
 - [on] us
 
- shiq'watunā
 - شِقْوَتُنَا
 - our wretchedness
 
- wakunnā
 - وَكُنَّا
 - and we were
 
- qawman
 - قَوْمًا
 - a people
 
- ḍāllīna
 - ضَآلِّينَ
 - astray
 
They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 106)Tafsir
رَبَّنَآ اَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَاِنْ عُدْنَا فَاِنَّا ظٰلِمُوْنَ ١٠٧
- rabbanā
 - رَبَّنَآ
 - Our Lord!
 
- akhrij'nā
 - أَخْرِجْنَا
 - Bring us out
 
- min'hā
 - مِنْهَا
 - from it
 
- fa-in
 - فَإِنْ
 - then if
 
- ʿud'nā
 - عُدْنَا
 - we return
 
- fa-innā
 - فَإِنَّا
 - then indeed we
 
- ẓālimūna
 - ظَٰلِمُونَ
 - (would be) wrongdoers"
 
Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 107)Tafsir
قَالَ اخْسَـُٔوْا فِيْهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُوْنِ ١٠٨
- qāla
 - قَالَ
 - He (will) say
 
- ikh'saū
 - ٱخْسَـُٔوا۟
 - "Remain despised
 
- fīhā
 - فِيهَا
 - in it
 
- walā
 - وَلَا
 - and (do) not
 
- tukallimūni
 - تُكَلِّمُونِ
 - speak to Me
 
He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 108)Tafsir
اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِيْ يَقُوْلُوْنَ رَبَّنَآ اٰمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَاَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرّٰحِمِيْنَ ۚ ١٠٩
- innahu
 - إِنَّهُۥ
 - Indeed
 
- kāna
 - كَانَ
 - (there) was
 
- farīqun
 - فَرِيقٌ
 - a party
 
- min
 - مِّنْ
 - of
 
- ʿibādī
 - عِبَادِى
 - My slaves
 
- yaqūlūna
 - يَقُولُونَ
 - (who) said
 
- rabbanā
 - رَبَّنَآ
 - "Our Lord!
 
- āmannā
 - ءَامَنَّا
 - We believe
 
- fa-igh'fir
 - فَٱغْفِرْ
 - so forgive
 
- lanā
 - لَنَا
 - us
 
- wa-ir'ḥamnā
 - وَٱرْحَمْنَا
 - and have mercy on us
 
- wa-anta
 - وَأَنتَ
 - and You
 
- khayru
 - خَيْرُ
 - (are) best
 
- l-rāḥimīna
 - ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
 - (of) those who show mercy
 
Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 109)Tafsir
فَاتَّخَذْتُمُوْهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتّٰٓى اَنْسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِيْ وَكُنْتُمْ مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُوْنَ ١١٠
- fa-ittakhadhtumūhum
 - فَٱتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ
 - But you took them
 
- sikh'riyyan
 - سِخْرِيًّا
 - (in) mockery
 
- ḥattā
 - حَتَّىٰٓ
 - until
 
- ansawkum
 - أَنسَوْكُمْ
 - they made you forget
 
- dhik'rī
 - ذِكْرِى
 - My remembrance
 
- wakuntum
 - وَكُنتُم
 - and you used (to)
 
- min'hum
 - مِّنْهُمْ
 - at them
 
- taḍḥakūna
 - تَضْحَكُونَ
 - laugh
 
But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. (QS. [23] Al-Mu'minun: 110)Tafsir
