Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Hajj Verse 64
Al-Hajj [22]: 64 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيْدُ ࣖ (الحج : ٢٢)
- lahu
- لَّهُۥ
- For Him

- مَا
- (is) whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِۗ
- the earth
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- lahuwa
- لَهُوَ
- surely He
- l-ghaniyu
- ٱلْغَنِىُّ
- (is) Free of need
- l-ḥamīdu
- ٱلْحَمِيدُ
- the Praiseworthy
Transliteration:
Lahoo ma fis samaawaati wa ma fil ard; wa innal laaha la Huwal Ghaniyyul Hameed(QS. al-Ḥajj:64)
English / Sahih Translation:
To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth. And indeed, Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. (QS. Al-Hajj, ayah 64)

Tafsir jalalayn
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, in terms of ownership. Surely God, He is Independent, of His servants, Praiseworthy, to His friends.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الاَْرْضِ
To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth.
He owns all things, and He has no need of anything besides Himself, everything is in need of Him and in a state of submission to Him.
وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُوَ الْغَنِيُّ الْحَمِيدُ
And verily, Allah -- He is Rich, Worthy of all praise.
