Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Hajj Verse 56
Al-Hajj [22]: 56 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اَلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلّٰهِ ۗيَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْۗ فَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فِيْ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيْمِ (الحج : ٢٢)
- al-mul'ku
- ٱلْمُلْكُ
- The Sovereignty
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- (on) that Day
- lillahi
- لِّلَّهِ
- (will be) for Allah
- yaḥkumu
- يَحْكُمُ
- He will judge
- baynahum
- بَيْنَهُمْۚ
- between them
- fa-alladhīna
- فَٱلَّذِينَ
- So those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and did
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- righteous deeds
- fī
- فِى
- (will be) in
- jannāti
- جَنَّٰتِ
- Gardens
- l-naʿīmi
- ٱلنَّعِيمِ
- (of) Delight
Transliteration:
Almulku Yawma'izil lillaahi yahkumu bainahum; fallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati fee jannaatin Na'eem(QS. al-Ḥajj:56)
English / Sahih Translation:
[All] sovereignty that Day is for Allah; He will judge between them. So they who believed and did righteous deeds will be in the Gardens of Pleasure. (QS. Al-Hajj, ayah 56)

The kingdom, on that day, is for Allah. He will judge between them. So, those who believed and did good deeds shall be in gardens of bliss.

All authority on that Day is for Allah ˹alone˺.[[ Allah grants authority to some of His servants in this world, but none will have authority on Judgment Day except Him. See {3:26}.]] He will judge between them. So those who believe and do good will be in the Gardens of Bliss.

The ownership/kingdom (on) that day (is) to God, He judges/rules between them, so those who believed and made/did the correct/righteous deeds (are) in gardens/paradises (of) the blessing/comfort and eases .

Tafsir jalalayn
Sovereignty on that day, namely, on the Day of Resurrection, will be God's, alone (the [sense of God's] `consolidation' [of sovereignty on that Day] suggested by the clause renders the adverbial qualifier [yawma'idhin, `on that day'] into [accusative] dependent status). He will judge between them, between believers and disbelievers in the way that He explains next; Then those who believed and performed righteous deeds will be in Gardens of Bliss, as a bounty from God,
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَيِذٍ لِّلَّهِ يَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ
The sovereignty on that Day will be that of Allah. He will judge between them.
This is like the Ayat;
مَـلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ
The Only Owner of the Day of Recompense. (1;4)
الْمُلْكُ يَوْمَيِذٍ الْحَقُّ لِلرَّحْمَـنِ وَكَانَ يَوْماً عَلَى الْكَـفِرِينَ عَسِيراً
The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty), belonging to the Most Gracious (Allah), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers. (25;26)
فَالَّذِينَ امَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ
So those who believed and did righteous good deeds,
means, their hearts believed in Allah and His Messenger, and they acted in accordance with what they knew; their words and deeds were in harmony.
فِي جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ
in Gardens of Delight.
means, they will enjoy eternal bliss which will never end or fade away
