وَالَّذِيْنَ سَعَوْا فِيْٓ اٰيٰتِنَا مُعٰجِزِيْنَ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَحِيْمِ ٥١
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- saʿaw
- سَعَوْا۟
- strove
- fī
- فِىٓ
- against
- āyātinā
- ءَايَٰتِنَا
- Our Verses
- muʿājizīna
- مُعَٰجِزِينَ
- (to) cause failure
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- those
- aṣḥābu
- أَصْحَٰبُ
- (are the) companions
- l-jaḥīmi
- ٱلْجَحِيمِ
- (of) the Hellfire
But the ones who strove against Our verses, [seeking] to cause failure – those are the companions of Hellfire. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 51)Tafsir
وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رَّسُوْلٍ وَّلَا نَبِيٍّ اِلَّآ اِذَا تَمَنّٰىٓ اَلْقَى الشَّيْطٰنُ فِيْٓ اُمْنِيَّتِهٖۚ فَيَنْسَخُ اللّٰهُ مَا يُلْقِى الشَّيْطٰنُ ثُمَّ يُحْكِمُ اللّٰهُ اٰيٰتِهٖۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ ۙ ٥٢
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- And not
- arsalnā
- أَرْسَلْنَا
- We sent
- min
- مِن
- before you
- qablika
- قَبْلِكَ
- before you
- min
- مِن
- any
- rasūlin
- رَّسُولٍ
- Messenger
- walā
- وَلَا
- and not
- nabiyyin
- نَبِىٍّ
- a Prophet
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- but
- idhā
- إِذَا
- when
- tamannā
- تَمَنَّىٰٓ
- he recited
- alqā
- أَلْقَى
- threw
- l-shayṭānu
- ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
- the Shaitaan
- fī
- فِىٓ
- in
- um'niyyatihi
- أُمْنِيَّتِهِۦ
- his recitation
- fayansakhu
- فَيَنسَخُ
- But Allah abolishes
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- But Allah abolishes
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yul'qī
- يُلْقِى
- throws
- l-shayṭānu
- ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
- the Shaitaan
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- yuḥ'kimu
- يُحْكِمُ
- Allah will establish
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah will establish
- āyātihi
- ءَايَٰتِهِۦۗ
- His Verses
- wal-lahu
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- ʿalīmun
- عَلِيمٌ
- (is) All-Knower
- ḥakīmun
- حَكِيمٌ
- All-Wise
And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 52)Tafsir
لِّيَجْعَلَ مَا يُلْقِى الشَّيْطٰنُ فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِيْنَ فِيْ قُلُوْبِهِمْ مَّرَضٌ وَّالْقَاسِيَةِ قُلُوْبُهُمْۗ وَاِنَّ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ لَفِيْ شِقَاقٍۢ بَعِيْدٍ ۙ ٥٣
- liyajʿala
- لِّيَجْعَلَ
- That He may make
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yul'qī
- يُلْقِى
- the Shaitaan throws
- l-shayṭānu
- ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ
- the Shaitaan throws
- fit'natan
- فِتْنَةً
- a trial
- lilladhīna
- لِّلَّذِينَ
- for those
- fī
- فِى
- in
- qulūbihim
- قُلُوبِهِم
- their hearts
- maraḍun
- مَّرَضٌ
- (is) a disease
- wal-qāsiyati
- وَٱلْقَاسِيَةِ
- and (are) hardened
- qulūbuhum
- قُلُوبُهُمْۗ
- their hearts
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- l-ẓālimīna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
- the wrongdoers
- lafī
- لَفِى
- (are) surely, in
- shiqāqin
- شِقَاقٍۭ
- schism
- baʿīdin
- بَعِيدٍ
- far
[That is] so He may make what Satan throws in [i.e., asserts] a trial for those within whose hearts is disease and those hard of heart. And indeed, the wrongdoers are in extreme dissension. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 53)Tafsir
وَّلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوا الْعِلْمَ اَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَّبِّكَ فَيُؤْمِنُوْا بِهٖ فَتُخْبِتَ لَهٗ قُلُوْبُهُمْۗ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهَادِ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْٓا اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ ٥٤
- waliyaʿlama
- وَلِيَعْلَمَ
- And that may know
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ūtū
- أُوتُوا۟
- have been given
- l-ʿil'ma
- ٱلْعِلْمَ
- the knowledge
- annahu
- أَنَّهُ
- that it
- l-ḥaqu
- ٱلْحَقُّ
- (is) the truth
- min
- مِن
- from
- rabbika
- رَّبِّكَ
- your Lord
- fayu'minū
- فَيُؤْمِنُوا۟
- and they believe
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- in it
- fatukh'bita
- فَتُخْبِتَ
- and may humbly submit
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- to it
- qulūbuhum
- قُلُوبُهُمْۗ
- their hearts
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- lahādi
- لَهَادِ
- (is) surely (the) Guide
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (of) those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوٓا۟
- believe
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- ṣirāṭin
- صِرَٰطٍ
- a Path
- mus'taqīmin
- مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
- Straight
And so those who were given knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord and [therefore] believe in it, and their hearts humbly submit to it. And indeed is Allah the Guide of those who have believed to a straight path. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 54)Tafsir
وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا فِيْ مِرْيَةٍ مِّنْهُ حَتّٰى تَأْتِيَهُمُ السَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً اَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابُ يَوْمٍ عَقِيْمٍ ٥٥
- walā
- وَلَا
- And not
- yazālu
- يَزَالُ
- will cease
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieve
- fī
- فِى
- (to be) in
- mir'yatin
- مِرْيَةٍ
- doubt
- min'hu
- مِّنْهُ
- of it
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- tatiyahumu
- تَأْتِيَهُمُ
- comes to them
- l-sāʿatu
- ٱلسَّاعَةُ
- the Hour
- baghtatan
- بَغْتَةً
- suddenly
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- yatiyahum
- يَأْتِيَهُمْ
- comes to them
- ʿadhābu
- عَذَابُ
- (the) punishment
- yawmin
- يَوْمٍ
- (of) a Day
- ʿaqīmin
- عَقِيمٍ
- barren
But those who disbelieve will not cease to be in doubt of it until the Hour comes upon them unexpectedly or there comes to them the punishment of a barren Day. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 55)Tafsir
اَلْمُلْكُ يَوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلّٰهِ ۗيَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْۗ فَالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ فِيْ جَنّٰتِ النَّعِيْمِ ٥٦
- al-mul'ku
- ٱلْمُلْكُ
- The Sovereignty
- yawma-idhin
- يَوْمَئِذٍ
- (on) that Day
- lillahi
- لِّلَّهِ
- (will be) for Allah
- yaḥkumu
- يَحْكُمُ
- He will judge
- baynahum
- بَيْنَهُمْۚ
- between them
- fa-alladhīna
- فَٱلَّذِينَ
- So those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and did
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- righteous deeds
- fī
- فِى
- (will be) in
- jannāti
- جَنَّٰتِ
- Gardens
- l-naʿīmi
- ٱلنَّعِيمِ
- (of) Delight
[All] sovereignty that Day is for Allah; He will judge between them. So they who believed and did righteous deeds will be in the Gardens of Pleasure. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 56)Tafsir
وَالَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا وَكَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُّهِيْنٌ ࣖ ٥٧
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- wakadhabū
- وَكَذَّبُوا۟
- and denied
- biāyātinā
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
- Our Verses
- fa-ulāika
- فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- then those
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ʿadhābun
- عَذَابٌ
- (will be) a punishment
- muhīnun
- مُّهِينٌ
- humiliating
And they who disbelieved and denied Our signs – for those there will be a humiliating punishment. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 57)Tafsir
وَالَّذِيْنَ هَاجَرُوْا فِيْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ثُمَّ قُتِلُوْٓا اَوْ مَاتُوْا لَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُ اللّٰهُ رِزْقًا حَسَنًاۗ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرّٰزِقِيْنَ ٥٨
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- hājarū
- هَاجَرُوا۟
- emigrated
- fī
- فِى
- in
- sabīli
- سَبِيلِ
- (the) way
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- qutilū
- قُتِلُوٓا۟
- were killed
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- mātū
- مَاتُوا۟
- died
- layarzuqannahumu
- لَيَرْزُقَنَّهُمُ
- surely, Allah will provide them
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- surely, Allah will provide them
- riz'qan
- رِزْقًا
- a provision
- ḥasanan
- حَسَنًاۚ
- good
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- lahuwa
- لَهُوَ
- surely, He
- khayru
- خَيْرُ
- (is the) Best
- l-rāziqīna
- ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ
- (of) the Providers
And those who emigrated for the cause of Allah and then were killed or died – Allah will surely provide for them a good provision. And indeed, it is Allah who is the best of providers. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 58)Tafsir
لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ مُّدْخَلًا يَّرْضَوْنَهٗۗ وَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَلِيْمٌ حَلِيْمٌ ٥٩
- layud'khilannahum
- لَيُدْخِلَنَّهُم
- Surely He will admit them
- mud'khalan
- مُّدْخَلًا
- (to) an entrance
- yarḍawnahu
- يَرْضَوْنَهُۥۗ
- they will be pleased (with) it
- wa-inna
- وَإِنَّ
- And indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- laʿalīmun
- لَعَلِيمٌ
- surely (is) All-Knowing
- ḥalīmun
- حَلِيمٌ
- Most Forbearing
He will surely cause them to enter an entrance with which they will be pleased, and indeed, Allah is Knowing and Forbearing. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 59)Tafsir
۞ ذٰلِكَ وَمَنْ عَاقَبَ بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوْقِبَ بِهٖ ثُمَّ بُغِيَ عَلَيْهِ لَيَنْصُرَنَّهُ اللّٰهُ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُوْرٌ ٦٠
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- waman
- وَمَنْ
- and whoever
- ʿāqaba
- عَاقَبَ
- has retaliated
- bimith'li
- بِمِثْلِ
- with the like
- mā
- مَا
- (of) that
- ʿūqiba
- عُوقِبَ
- he was made to suffer
- bihi
- بِهِۦ
- by it
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- bughiya
- بُغِىَ
- he was oppressed
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- [on him]
- layanṣurannahu
- لَيَنصُرَنَّهُ
- Allah will surely help him
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُۗ
- Allah will surely help him
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- laʿafuwwun
- لَعَفُوٌّ
- (is) surely Oft-Pardoning
- ghafūrun
- غَفُورٌ
- Oft-Forgiving
That [is so]. And whoever responds [to injustice] with the equivalent of that with which he was harmed and then is tyrannized – Allah will surely aid him. Indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving. (QS. [22] Al-Hajj: 60)Tafsir
