Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Anbya Verse 99
Al-Anbya [21]: 99 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
لَوْ كَانَ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ اٰلِهَةً مَّا وَرَدُوْهَاۗ وَكُلٌّ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ (الأنبياء : ٢١)

- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ

- ءَالِهَةً
- gods

- مَّا

- waradūhā
- وَرَدُوهَاۖ

- فِيهَا
- therein
- khālidūna
- خَٰلِدُونَ
- will abide forever
Transliteration:
Law kaana haaa'ulaaa'i aalihatam maa waradoohaa wa kullun feehaa khaalidoon(QS. al-ʾAnbiyāʾ:99)
English / Sahih Translation:
Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. (QS. Al-Anbya, ayah 99)

Had these, graven images, been gods, as you claim, they would never have come to it, [they would never have] entered it, and they will all, both the worshippers and the worshipped, abide therein.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
لَوْ كَانَ هَوُلَاء الِهَةً مَّا وَرَدُوهَا
Had these been gods, they would not have entered there,
means, if these idols and false gods which you worshipped instead of Allah, had really been gods, they would not have entered the Hellfire.
وَكُلٌّ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ
and all of them will abide therein forever.
means, the worshippers and the objects of their worship will all abide therein forever.
