Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Anbya Verse 20
Al-Anbya [21]: 20 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
يُسَبِّحُوْنَ الَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُوْنَ (الأنبياء : ٢١)
- yusabbiḥūna
- يُسَبِّحُونَ
- They glorify (Him)
- al-layla
- ٱلَّيْلَ
- [the] night
- wal-nahāra
- وَٱلنَّهَارَ
- and [the] day

- لَا
- not
- yafturūna
- يَفْتُرُونَ
- they slacken
Transliteration:
Yusabbihoona laila wannahaara laa yafturoon(QS. al-ʾAnbiyāʾ:20)
English / Sahih Translation:
They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken. (QS. Al-Anbya, ayah 20)

Tafsir jalalayn

They glorify His praises night and day, they never slacken.
They persist in their worship night and day, obeying Allah to the utmost, and they are able to do this, as Allah says;
لااَّ يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَأ أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُوْمَرُونَ
who do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, but do what they are commanded. (66;6)
