Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Anbya Verse 12
Al-Anbya [21]: 12 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
فَلَمَّآ اَحَسُّوْا بَأْسَنَآ اِذَا هُمْ مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُوْنَ ۗ (الأنبياء : ٢١)

- Then when

- أَحَسُّوا۟
- they perceived

- بَأْسَنَآ
- Our torment
- idhā
- إِذَا
- behold

- مِّنْهَا
- from it

- يَرْكُضُونَ
- were fleeing
Transliteration:
Falammaaa ahassoo baasanaaa izaaa hum minhaa yarkudoon(QS. al-ʾAnbiyāʾ:12)
English / Sahih Translation:
And when they [i.e., its inhabitants] perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it. (QS. Al-Anbya, ayah 12)

Then, when they sensed Our torment,
when they realized that the torment would undoubtedly come upon them, just as their Prophet had warned them,
إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ
behold, they (tried to) flee from it.
