وَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَلُوْطًا اِلَى الْاَرْضِ الَّتِيْ بٰرَكْناَ فِيْهَا لِلْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٧١
- wanajjaynāhu
- وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ
- And We delivered him
- walūṭan
- وَلُوطًا
- and Lut
- ilā
- إِلَى
- to
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the land
- allatī
- ٱلَّتِى
- which
- bāraknā
- بَٰرَكْنَا
- We (had) blessed
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- [in it]
- lil'ʿālamīna
- لِلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- for the worlds
And We delivered him and Lot to the land which We had blessed for the worlds [i.e., peoples]. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 71)Tafsir
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهٗٓ اِسْحٰقَ وَيَعْقُوْبَ نَافِلَةً ۗوَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا صٰلِحِيْنَ ٧٢
- wawahabnā
- وَوَهَبْنَا
- And We bestowed
- lahu
- لَهُۥٓ
- on him
- is'ḥāqa
- إِسْحَٰقَ
- Ishaq
- wayaʿqūba
- وَيَعْقُوبَ
- and Yaqub
- nāfilatan
- نَافِلَةًۖ
- (in) addition
- wakullan
- وَكُلًّا
- and all
- jaʿalnā
- جَعَلْنَا
- We made
- ṣāliḥīna
- صَٰلِحِينَ
- righteous
And We gave him Isaac and Jacob in addition, and all [of them] We made righteous. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 72)Tafsir
وَجَعَلْنٰهُمْ اَىِٕمَّةً يَّهْدُوْنَ بِاَمْرِنَا وَاَوْحَيْنَآ اِلَيْهِمْ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرٰتِ وَاِقَامَ الصَّلٰوةِ وَاِيْتَاۤءَ الزَّكٰوةِۚ وَكَانُوْا لَنَا عٰبِدِيْنَ ۙ ٧٣
- wajaʿalnāhum
- وَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ
- And We made them
- a-immatan
- أَئِمَّةً
- leaders
- yahdūna
- يَهْدُونَ
- they guide
- bi-amrinā
- بِأَمْرِنَا
- by Our Command
- wa-awḥaynā
- وَأَوْحَيْنَآ
- And We inspired
- ilayhim
- إِلَيْهِمْ
- to them
- fiʿ'la
- فِعْلَ
- (the) doing
- l-khayrāti
- ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِ
- (of) good deeds
- wa-iqāma
- وَإِقَامَ
- and establishment
- l-ṣalati
- ٱلصَّلَوٰةِ
- (of) the prayer
- waītāa
- وَإِيتَآءَ
- and giving
- l-zakati
- ٱلزَّكَوٰةِۖ
- (of) zakah;
- wakānū
- وَكَانُوا۟
- and they were
- lanā
- لَنَا
- of Us
- ʿābidīna
- عَٰبِدِينَ
- worshippers
And We made them leaders guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of prayer, and giving of Zakah; and they were worshippers of Us. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 73)Tafsir
وَلُوْطًا اٰتَيْنٰهُ حُكْمًا وَّعِلْمًا وَّنَجَّيْنٰهُ مِنَ الْقَرْيَةِ الَّتِيْ كَانَتْ تَّعْمَلُ الْخَبٰۤىِٕثَ ۗاِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فٰسِقِيْنَۙ ٧٤
- walūṭan
- وَلُوطًا
- And (to) Lut
- ātaynāhu
- ءَاتَيْنَٰهُ
- We gave him
- ḥuk'man
- حُكْمًا
- judgment
- waʿil'man
- وَعِلْمًا
- and knowledge
- wanajjaynāhu
- وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ
- and We saved him
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-qaryati
- ٱلْقَرْيَةِ
- the town
- allatī
- ٱلَّتِى
- which
- kānat
- كَانَت
- was
- taʿmalu
- تَّعْمَلُ
- doing
- l-khabāitha
- ٱلْخَبَٰٓئِثَۗ
- wicked deeds
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed they
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- were
- qawma
- قَوْمَ
- a people
- sawin
- سَوْءٍ
- evil
- fāsiqīna
- فَٰسِقِينَ
- defiantly disobedient
And to Lot We gave judgement and knowledge, and We saved him from the city that was committing wicked deeds. Indeed, they were a people of evil, defiantly disobedient. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 74)Tafsir
وَاَدْخَلْنٰهُ فِيْ رَحْمَتِنَاۗ اِنَّهٗ مِنَ الصّٰلِحِيْنَ ࣖ ٧٥
- wa-adkhalnāhu
- وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُ
- And We admitted him
- fī
- فِى
- into
- raḥmatinā
- رَحْمَتِنَآۖ
- Our Mercy
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed he
- mina
- مِنَ
- (was) of
- l-ṣāliḥīna
- ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ
- the righteous
And We admitted him into Our mercy. Indeed, he was of the righteous. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 75)Tafsir
وَنُوْحًا اِذْ نَادٰى مِنْ قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهٗ فَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَاَهْلَهٗ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيْمِ ۚ ٧٦
- wanūḥan
- وَنُوحًا
- And Nuh
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- nādā
- نَادَىٰ
- he called
- min
- مِن
- before
- qablu
- قَبْلُ
- before
- fa-is'tajabnā
- فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا
- so We responded
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- to him
- fanajjaynāhu
- فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ
- and We saved him
- wa-ahlahu
- وَأَهْلَهُۥ
- and his family
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-karbi
- ٱلْكَرْبِ
- the affliction
- l-ʿaẓīmi
- ٱلْعَظِيمِ
- [the] great
And [mention] Noah, when he called [to Allah] before [that time], so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great affliction [i.e., the flood]. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 76)Tafsir
وَنَصَرْنٰهُ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ الَّذِيْنَ كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَاۗ اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا قَوْمَ سَوْءٍ فَاَغْرَقْنٰهُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ ٧٧
- wanaṣarnāhu
- وَنَصَرْنَٰهُ
- And We helped him
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-qawmi
- ٱلْقَوْمِ
- the people
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- who
- kadhabū
- كَذَّبُوا۟
- denied
- biāyātinā
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآۚ
- Our Signs
- innahum
- إِنَّهُمْ
- Indeed they
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- were
- qawma
- قَوْمَ
- a people
- sawin
- سَوْءٍ
- evil
- fa-aghraqnāhum
- فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْ
- so We drowned them
- ajmaʿīna
- أَجْمَعِينَ
- all
And We aided [i.e., saved] him from the people who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a people of evil, so We drowned them, all together. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 77)Tafsir
وَدَاوٗدَ وَسُلَيْمٰنَ اِذْ يَحْكُمٰنِ فِى الْحَرْثِ اِذْ نَفَشَتْ فِيْهِ غَنَمُ الْقَوْمِۚ وَكُنَّا لِحُكْمِهِمْ شٰهِدِيْنَ ۖ ٧٨
- wadāwūda
- وَدَاوُۥدَ
- And Dawud
- wasulaymāna
- وَسُلَيْمَٰنَ
- and Sulaiman
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- yaḥkumāni
- يَحْكُمَانِ
- they judged
- fī
- فِى
- concerning
- l-ḥarthi
- ٱلْحَرْثِ
- the field
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- nafashat
- نَفَشَتْ
- pastured
- fīhi
- فِيهِ
- in it
- ghanamu
- غَنَمُ
- sheep
- l-qawmi
- ٱلْقَوْمِ
- (of) a people
- wakunnā
- وَكُنَّا
- and We were
- liḥuk'mihim
- لِحُكْمِهِمْ
- to their judgment
- shāhidīna
- شَٰهِدِينَ
- witness
And [mention] David and Solomon, when they judged concerning the field – when the sheep of a people overran it [at night], and We were witness to their judgement. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 78)Tafsir
فَفَهَّمْنٰهَا سُلَيْمٰنَۚ وَكُلًّا اٰتَيْنَا حُكْمًا وَّعِلْمًاۖ وَّسَخَّرْنَا مَعَ دَاوٗدَ الْجِبَالَ يُسَبِّحْنَ وَالطَّيْرَۗ وَكُنَّا فٰعِلِيْنَ ٧٩
- fafahhamnāhā
- فَفَهَّمْنَٰهَا
- And We gave understanding of it
- sulaymāna
- سُلَيْمَٰنَۚ
- (to) Sulaiman
- wakullan
- وَكُلًّا
- and (to) each
- ātaynā
- ءَاتَيْنَا
- We gave
- ḥuk'man
- حُكْمًا
- judgment
- waʿil'man
- وَعِلْمًاۚ
- and knowledge
- wasakharnā
- وَسَخَّرْنَا
- And We subjected
- maʿa
- مَعَ
- with
- dāwūda
- دَاوُۥدَ
- Dawud
- l-jibāla
- ٱلْجِبَالَ
- the mountains
- yusabbiḥ'na
- يُسَبِّحْنَ
- (to) glorify Our praises
- wal-ṭayra
- وَٱلطَّيْرَۚ
- and the birds
- wakunnā
- وَكُنَّا
- And We were
- fāʿilīna
- فَٰعِلِينَ
- the Doers
And We gave understanding of it [i.e., the case] to Solomon, and to each [of them] We gave judgement and knowledge. And We subjected the mountains to exalt [Us], along with David and [also] the birds. And We were doing [that]. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 79)Tafsir
وَعَلَّمْنٰهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوْسٍ لَّكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُمْ مِّنْۢ بَأْسِكُمْۚ فَهَلْ اَنْتُمْ شَاكِرُوْنَ ٨٠
- waʿallamnāhu
- وَعَلَّمْنَٰهُ
- And We taught him
- ṣanʿata
- صَنْعَةَ
- (the) making
- labūsin
- لَبُوسٍ
- (of) coats of armor
- lakum
- لَّكُمْ
- for you
- lituḥ'ṣinakum
- لِتُحْصِنَكُم
- to protect you
- min
- مِّنۢ
- from
- basikum
- بَأْسِكُمْۖ
- your battle
- fahal
- فَهَلْ
- Then will
- antum
- أَنتُمْ
- you
- shākirūna
- شَٰكِرُونَ
- (be) grateful?
And We taught him the fashioning of coats of armor to protect you from your [enemy in] battle. So will you then be grateful? (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 80)Tafsir
