111
وَاِنْ اَدْرِيْ لَعَلَّهٗ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَاعٌ اِلٰى حِيْنٍ ١١١
- wa-in
- وَإِنْ
- And not
- adrī
- أَدْرِى
- I know
- laʿallahu
- لَعَلَّهُۥ
- perhaps it may be
- fit'natun
- فِتْنَةٌ
- a trial
- lakum
- لَّكُمْ
- for you
- wamatāʿun
- وَمَتَٰعٌ
- and an enjoyment
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- for
- ḥīnin
- حِينٍ
- a time"
And I know not; perhaps it is a trial for you and enjoyment for a time." (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 111)Tafsir
112
قَالَ رَبِّ احْكُمْ بِالْحَقِّۗ وَرَبُّنَا الرَّحْمٰنُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلٰى مَا تَصِفُوْنَ ࣖ ١١٢
- qāla
- قَٰلَ
- He said
- rabbi
- رَبِّ
- "My Lord!
- uḥ'kum
- ٱحْكُم
- judge
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّۗ
- in truth
- warabbunā
- وَرَبُّنَا
- And our Lord
- l-raḥmānu
- ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
- (is) the Most Gracious
- l-mus'taʿānu
- ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ
- the One Whose help is sought
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- against
- mā
- مَا
- what
- taṣifūna
- تَصِفُونَ
- you attribute"
[The Prophet (^)] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe." (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 112)Tafsir
