وَالَّتِيْٓ اَحْصَنَتْ فَرْجَهَا فَنَفَخْنَا فِيْهَا مِنْ رُّوْحِنَا وَجَعَلْنٰهَا وَابْنَهَآ اٰيَةً لِّلْعٰلَمِيْنَ ٩١
- wa-allatī
- وَٱلَّتِىٓ
- And she who
- aḥṣanat
- أَحْصَنَتْ
- guarded
- farjahā
- فَرْجَهَا
- her chastity
- fanafakhnā
- فَنَفَخْنَا
- so We breathed
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- into her
- min
- مِن
- of
- rūḥinā
- رُّوحِنَا
- Our Spirit
- wajaʿalnāhā
- وَجَعَلْنَٰهَا
- and We made her
- wa-ib'nahā
- وَٱبْنَهَآ
- and her son
- āyatan
- ءَايَةً
- a sign
- lil'ʿālamīna
- لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
- for the worlds
And [mention] the one who guarded her chastity [i.e., Mary], so We blew into her [garment] through Our angel [i.e., Gabriel], and We made her and her son a sign for the worlds. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 91)Tafsir
اِنَّ هٰذِهٖٓ اُمَّتُكُمْ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةًۖ وَّاَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوْنِ ٩٢
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- hādhihi
- هَٰذِهِۦٓ
- this
- ummatukum
- أُمَّتُكُمْ
- (is) your religion -
- ummatan
- أُمَّةً
- religion
- wāḥidatan
- وَٰحِدَةً
- one
- wa-anā
- وَأَنَا۠
- and I Am
- rabbukum
- رَبُّكُمْ
- your Lord
- fa-uʿ'budūni
- فَٱعْبُدُونِ
- so worship Me
Indeed this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 92)Tafsir
وَتَقَطَّعُوْٓا اَمْرَهُمْ بَيْنَهُمْۗ كُلٌّ اِلَيْنَا رَاجِعُوْنَ ࣖ ٩٣
- wataqaṭṭaʿū
- وَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟
- But they cut off
- amrahum
- أَمْرَهُم
- their affair
- baynahum
- بَيْنَهُمْۖ
- among themselves
- kullun
- كُلٌّ
- all
- ilaynā
- إِلَيْنَا
- to Us
- rājiʿūna
- رَٰجِعُونَ
- (will) return
And [yet] they divided their affair [i.e., that of their religion] among themselves, [but] all to Us will return. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 93)Tafsir
فَمَنْ يَّعْمَلْ مِنَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَلَا كُفْرَانَ لِسَعْيِهٖۚ وَاِنَّا لَهٗ كَاتِبُوْنَ ٩٤
- faman
- فَمَن
- Then whoever
- yaʿmal
- يَعْمَلْ
- does
- mina
- مِنَ
- [of]
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- [the] righteous deeds
- wahuwa
- وَهُوَ
- while he
- mu'minun
- مُؤْمِنٌ
- (is) a believer
- falā
- فَلَا
- then not
- kuf'rāna
- كُفْرَانَ
- (will be) rejected
- lisaʿyihi
- لِسَعْيِهِۦ
- [of] his effort
- wa-innā
- وَإِنَّا
- And indeed We
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- of it
- kātibūna
- كَٰتِبُونَ
- (are) Recorders
So whoever does righteous deeds while he is a believer – no denial will there be for his effort, and indeed We [i.e., Our angels], of it, are recorders. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 94)Tafsir
وَحَرَامٌ عَلٰى قَرْيَةٍ اَهْلَكْنٰهَآ اَنَّهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُوْنَ ٩٥
- waḥarāmun
- وَحَرَٰمٌ
- And (there is) prohibition
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- upon
- qaryatin
- قَرْيَةٍ
- a city
- ahlaknāhā
- أَهْلَكْنَٰهَآ
- which We have destroyed
- annahum
- أَنَّهُمْ
- that they
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yarjiʿūna
- يَرْجِعُونَ
- will return
And it is prohibited to [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 95)Tafsir
حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا فُتِحَتْ يَأْجُوْجُ وَمَأْجُوْجُ وَهُمْ مِّنْ كُلِّ حَدَبٍ يَّنْسِلُوْنَ ٩٦
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰٓ
- Until
- idhā
- إِذَا
- when
- futiḥat
- فُتِحَتْ
- has been opened
- yajūju
- يَأْجُوجُ
- (for) the Yajuj
- wamajūju
- وَمَأْجُوجُ
- and Majuj
- wahum
- وَهُم
- and they
- min
- مِّن
- from
- kulli
- كُلِّ
- every
- ḥadabin
- حَدَبٍ
- elevation
- yansilūna
- يَنسِلُونَ
- descend
Until when [the dam of] Gog and Magog has been opened and they, from every elevation, descend (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 96)Tafsir
وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَاِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ اَبْصَارُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْاۗ يٰوَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِيْ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هٰذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيْنَ ٩٧
- wa-iq'taraba
- وَٱقْتَرَبَ
- And has approached
- l-waʿdu
- ٱلْوَعْدُ
- the promise
- l-ḥaqu
- ٱلْحَقُّ
- [the] true
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَا
- then behold
- hiya
- هِىَ
- [it]
- shākhiṣatun
- شَٰخِصَةٌ
- (are) staring
- abṣāru
- أَبْصَٰرُ
- (the) eyes
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (of) those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- yāwaylanā
- يَٰوَيْلَنَا
- "O woe to us!
- qad
- قَدْ
- Verily
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- we had been
- fī
- فِى
- in
- ghaflatin
- غَفْلَةٍ
- heedlessness
- min
- مِّنْ
- of
- hādhā
- هَٰذَا
- this;
- bal
- بَلْ
- nay
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- we were
- ẓālimīna
- ظَٰلِمِينَ
- wrongdoers"
And [when] the true promise [i.e., the resurrection] has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers." (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 97)Tafsir
اِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَۗ اَنْتُمْ لَهَا وَارِدُوْنَ ٩٨
- innakum
- إِنَّكُمْ
- Indeed, you
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and what
- taʿbudūna
- تَعْبُدُونَ
- you worship
- min
- مِن
- besides Allah
- dūni
- دُونِ
- besides Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- besides Allah
- ḥaṣabu
- حَصَبُ
- (are) firewood
- jahannama
- جَهَنَّمَ
- (of) Hell
- antum
- أَنتُمْ
- You
- lahā
- لَهَا
- to it
- wāridūna
- وَٰرِدُونَ
- will come
Indeed, you [disbelievers] and what you worship other than Allah are the firewood of Hell. You will be coming to [enter] it. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 98)Tafsir
لَوْ كَانَ هٰٓؤُلَاۤءِ اٰلِهَةً مَّا وَرَدُوْهَاۗ وَكُلٌّ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ٩٩
- law
- لَوْ
- If
- kāna
- كَانَ
- were
- hāulāi
- هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
- these
- ālihatan
- ءَالِهَةً
- gods
- mā
- مَّا
- not
- waradūhā
- وَرَدُوهَاۖ
- they (would) have come to it
- wakullun
- وَكُلٌّ
- And all
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- khālidūna
- خَٰلِدُونَ
- will abide forever
Had these [false deities] been [actual] gods, they would not have come to it, but all are eternal therein. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 99)Tafsir
لَهُمْ فِيْهَا زَفِيْرٌ وَّهُمْ فِيْهَا لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ ١٠٠
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- For them
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- zafīrun
- زَفِيرٌ
- (is) sighing
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- and they
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- therein
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yasmaʿūna
- يَسْمَعُونَ
- will hear
For them therein is heavy sighing, and they therein will not hear. (QS. [21] Al-Anbya: 100)Tafsir
