Al-Qur'an Surah Taha Verse 113

And in this way We have sent it down to you as an Arabic Qur’ān, and have detailed in it some warnings in various ways, so that they may fear, or it may produce a lesson for them.

Just as (We have revealed these verses) We have revealed the entire Qur´ân in Arabic. And as/like that We descended it (as) an Arabic Koran, and We laid out/detailed linguistically in it from the threat, maybe/perhaps they fear and obey, or it initiates/originates/informs for them a reminder/remembrance.

Tafsir jalalayn

Thus (kadhlika, a supplement to [the previous] kadhlika naqussu, `thus We relate' [Q. 20;99]), just as We have revealed what has been mentioned, We have revealed it, that is, the Qur'n, as an Arabic Qur'n, and We have distributed, We have repeated, in it [statements] of threats, so that they may fear, associating others with God, or it, the Qur'n, may arouse in them a remembrance, of the destruction of those communities before, and may thus be admonished.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

The Qur'an was revealed so that the People would have Taqwa and reflect

Allah says,

وَكَذَلِكَ أَنزَلْنَاهُ قُرْانًا عَرَبِيًّا

And thus We have sent it down as a Qur'an in Arabic,

After Allah, the Exalted, mentions that on the Day of Judgement both the good and the evil will be recompensed and there is no avoiding it, He then explains that the Qur'an was revealed as a bringer of glad tidings and a warner in the clear and eloquent Arabic language. There is no confusion or deficiency in it.

وَصَرَّفْنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَّقُونَ

and have explained therein in detail the warnings, in order that they may have Taqwa of,

This means;so that they will leave off sins, forbidden things and lewd abominations.

أَوْ يُحْدِثُ لَهُمْ ذِكْرًا



or that it may cause them to have a lesson from it.

This means;to produce acts of obedience and deeds that will bring one closer to Allah
