41
وَاصْطَنَعْتُكَ لِنَفْسِيْۚ ٤١
- wa-iṣ'ṭanaʿtuka
- وَٱصْطَنَعْتُكَ
- And I (have) chosen you
- linafsī
- لِنَفْسِى
- for Myself
And I produced you for Myself. (QS. [20] Taha: 41)Tafsir
42
اِذْهَبْ اَنْتَ وَاَخُوْكَ بِاٰيٰتِيْ وَلَا تَنِيَا فِيْ ذِكْرِيْۚ ٤٢
- idh'hab
- ٱذْهَبْ
- Go
- anta
- أَنتَ
- you
- wa-akhūka
- وَأَخُوكَ
- and your brother
- biāyātī
- بِـَٔايَٰتِى
- with My Signs
- walā
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- taniyā
- تَنِيَا
- slacken
- fī
- فِى
- in
- dhik'rī
- ذِكْرِى
- My remembrance
Go, you and your brother, with My signs and do not slacken in My remembrance. (QS. [20] Taha: 42)Tafsir
43
اِذْهَبَآ اِلٰى فِرْعَوْنَ اِنَّهٗ طَغٰىۚ ٤٣
- idh'habā
- ٱذْهَبَآ
- Go both of you
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- fir'ʿawna
- فِرْعَوْنَ
- Firaun
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed he
- ṭaghā
- طَغَىٰ
- (has) transgressed
Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. (QS. [20] Taha: 43)Tafsir
44
فَقُوْلَا لَهٗ قَوْلًا لَّيِّنًا لَّعَلَّهٗ يَتَذَكَّرُ اَوْ يَخْشٰى ٤٤
- faqūlā
- فَقُولَا
- And speak
- lahu
- لَهُۥ
- to him
- qawlan
- قَوْلًا
- a word
- layyinan
- لَّيِّنًا
- gentle
- laʿallahu
- لَّعَلَّهُۥ
- perhaps he
- yatadhakkaru
- يَتَذَكَّرُ
- may take heed
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- yakhshā
- يَخْشَىٰ
- fear"
And speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah]." (QS. [20] Taha: 44)Tafsir
45
قَالَا رَبَّنَآ اِنَّنَا نَخَافُ اَنْ يَّفْرُطَ عَلَيْنَآ اَوْ اَنْ يَّطْغٰى ٤٥
- qālā
- قَالَا
- They said
- rabbanā
- رَبَّنَآ
- "Our Lord!
- innanā
- إِنَّنَا
- Indeed we
- nakhāfu
- نَخَافُ
- fear
- an
- أَن
- that
- yafruṭa
- يَفْرُطَ
- he will hasten
- ʿalaynā
- عَلَيْنَآ
- against us
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- an
- أَن
- that
- yaṭghā
- يَطْغَىٰ
- he will transgress"
They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." (QS. [20] Taha: 45)Tafsir
46
قَالَ لَا تَخَافَآ اِنَّنِيْ مَعَكُمَآ اَسْمَعُ وَاَرٰى ٤٦
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- lā
- لَا
- "(Do) not
- takhāfā
- تَخَافَآۖ
- fear
- innanī
- إِنَّنِى
- Indeed I Am
- maʿakumā
- مَعَكُمَآ
- with you both;
- asmaʿu
- أَسْمَعُ
- I hear
- wa-arā
- وَأَرَىٰ
- and I see
[Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. (QS. [20] Taha: 46)Tafsir
47
فَأْتِيٰهُ فَقُوْلَآ اِنَّا رَسُوْلَا رَبِّكَ فَاَرْسِلْ مَعَنَا بَنِيْٓ اِسْرَاۤءِيْلَ ەۙ وَلَا تُعَذِّبْهُمْۗ قَدْ جِئْنٰكَ بِاٰيَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ ۗوَالسَّلٰمُ عَلٰى مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الْهُدٰى ٤٧
- fatiyāhu
- فَأْتِيَاهُ
- So go to him
- faqūlā
- فَقُولَآ
- and say
- innā
- إِنَّا
- "Indeed, we
- rasūlā
- رَسُولَا
- both (are) Messengers
- rabbika
- رَبِّكَ
- (of) your Lord
- fa-arsil
- فَأَرْسِلْ
- so send
- maʿanā
- مَعَنَا
- with us
- banī
- بَنِىٓ
- (the) Children of Israel
- is'rāīla
- إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
- (the) Children of Israel
- walā
- وَلَا
- and (do) not
- tuʿadhib'hum
- تُعَذِّبْهُمْۖ
- torment them
- qad
- قَدْ
- Verily
- ji'nāka
- جِئْنَٰكَ
- we came to you
- biāyatin
- بِـَٔايَةٍ
- with a Sign
- min
- مِّن
- from
- rabbika
- رَّبِّكَۖ
- your Lord
- wal-salāmu
- وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ
- And peace
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- mani
- مَنِ
- (one) who
- ittabaʿa
- ٱتَّبَعَ
- follows
- l-hudā
- ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
- the Guidance
So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. (QS. [20] Taha: 47)Tafsir
48
اِنَّا قَدْ اُوْحِيَ اِلَيْنَآ اَنَّ الْعَذَابَ عَلٰى مَنْ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلّٰى ٤٨
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed we
- qad
- قَدْ
- verily
- ūḥiya
- أُوحِىَ
- it has been revealed
- ilaynā
- إِلَيْنَآ
- to us
- anna
- أَنَّ
- that
- l-ʿadhāba
- ٱلْعَذَابَ
- the punishment
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- (will be) on
- man
- مَن
- (one) who
- kadhaba
- كَذَّبَ
- denies
- watawallā
- وَتَوَلَّىٰ
- and turns away'"
Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.'" (QS. [20] Taha: 48)Tafsir
49
قَالَ فَمَنْ رَّبُّكُمَا يٰمُوْسٰى ٤٩
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- faman
- فَمَن
- "Then who
- rabbukumā
- رَّبُّكُمَا
- (is) your Lord
- yāmūsā
- يَٰمُوسَىٰ
- O Musa?"
[Pharaoh] said, "So who is the Lord of you two, O Moses?" (QS. [20] Taha: 49)Tafsir
50
قَالَ رَبُّنَا الَّذِيْٓ اَعْطٰى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلْقَهٗ ثُمَّ هَدٰى ٥٠
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- rabbunā
- رَبُّنَا
- "Our Lord
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- (is) the One Who
- aʿṭā
- أَعْطَىٰ
- gave
- kulla
- كُلَّ
- (to) every
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- thing
- khalqahu
- خَلْقَهُۥ
- its form
- thumma
- ثُمَّ
- then
- hadā
- هَدَىٰ
- He guided (it)"
He said, "Our Lord is He who gave each thing its form and then guided [it]." (QS. [20] Taha: 50)Tafsir
