Al-Baqarah [2]: 21 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوْا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَۙ (البقرة : ٢)

yāayyuhā
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
O you
l-nāsu
ٱلنَّاسُ
mankind!
uʿ'budū
ٱعْبُدُوا۟
worship
rabbakumu
رَبَّكُمُ
your Lord
alladhī
ٱلَّذِى
the One Who
khalaqakum
خَلَقَكُمْ
created you
wa-alladhīna
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those [who]
min
مِن
from
qablikum
قَبْلِكُمْ
before you
laʿallakum
لَعَلَّكُمْ
so that you may
tattaqūna
تَتَّقُونَ
become righteous

Transliteration:

Yaaa aiyuhan naasu'budoo Rabbakumul lazee khalaqakum wallazeena min qablikum la'allakum tattaqoon (QS. al-Baq̈arah:21)

English / Sahih Translation:

O mankind, worship your Lord, who created you and those before you, that you may become righteous – (QS. Al-Baqarah, ayah 21)

Tawhid Al-Uluhiyyah

Allah says;

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُواْ رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ



O mankind! Worship your Lord (Allah), Who created you and those who were before you so that you may acquire Taqwa.

Allah mentioned His Oneness in divinity and stated that He has favored His servants by bringing them to life after they did not exist.

He also surrounded them with blessings, both hidden and apparent
