Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 192
Al-Baqarah [2]: 192 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
فَاِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ غَفُوْرٌ رَّحِيْمٌ (البقرة : ٢)
- fa-ini
- فَإِنِ
- Then if
- intahaw
- ٱنتَهَوْا۟
- they cease
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- then indeed
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- ghafūrun
- غَفُورٌ
- (is) Oft-Forgiving
- raḥīmun
- رَّحِيمٌ
- Most Merciful
Transliteration:
Fa ini-ntahaw fa innal laaha Ghafoorur Raheem(QS. al-Baq̈arah:192)
English / Sahih Translation:
And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (QS. Al-Baqarah, ayah 192)

which means, `If they (polytheists) cease fighting you in the Sacred Area, and come to Islam and repent, then Allah will forgive them their sins, even if they had before killed Muslims in Allah's Sacred Area.'
Indeed, Allah's forgiveness encompasses every sin, whatever its enormity, when the sinner repents it.
The Order to fight until there is no more Fitnah
Allah then commanded fighting the disbelievers when He said
