Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Baqarah Verse 131
Al-Baqarah [2]: 131 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
اِذْ قَالَ لَهٗ رَبُّهٗٓ اَسْلِمْۙ قَالَ اَسْلَمْتُ لِرَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَ (البقرة : ٢)

Transliteration:
Iz qaala lahoo Rabbuhooo aslim qaala aslamtu li Rabbil 'aalameen(QS. al-Baq̈arah:131)
English / Sahih Translation:
When his Lord said to him, "Submit," he said, "I have submitted [in IsLam] to the Lord of the worlds." (QS. Al-Baqarah, ayah 131)

When his Lord said to him, “Submit!” He said, “I submit myself to the Lord of all the worlds.”

Tafseer Ibn Kathir
When his Lord said to him, "Submit (i.e. be a Muslim)!" He said, "I have submitted myself (as a Muslim) to the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, Jinn and all that exists)."
This Ayah indicates that Allah commanded Ibrahim to be sincere with Him and to abide and submit to Him;
Ibrahim perfectly adhered to Allah's command.
