Al-Qur'an Surah Maryam Verse 82
Maryam [19]: 82 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
كَلَّا ۗسَيَكْفُرُوْنَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ وَيَكُوْنُوْنَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا ࣖ (مريم : ١٩)

- سَيَكْفُرُونَ

- بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ

Transliteration:
Kallaa; sa yakfuroona bi'ibaadatihim wa yakoonoona 'alaihim diddaa(QS. Maryam:82)
English / Sahih Translation:
No! They [i.e., those "gods"] will deny their worship of them and will be against them opponents [on the Day of Judgement]. (QS. Maryam, ayah 82)

Never! They (their fabricated deities) will soon reject their having worshipped them, and they will be just the opposite for them.

Tafsir jalalayn
Nay, that is to say, there is none to prevent their being chastised, but they, namely, the [idol] gods, shall reject their worship, that is, they will deny it -- as [is stated] in another verse; It was not us that they used to worship [Q. 28;63]) -- and they shall be [pitted] against them as opponents, enemies, supporting one another [against them].
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
كَلَّ سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ
Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, (on the Day of Judgement).
وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا
and will become their adversaries.
This means that they will be foes in a state other than what they think about these gods.
This is similar to Allah's statement,
وَمَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّن يَدْعُو مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ مَن لاَّ يَسْتَجِيبُ لَهُ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَـمَةِ وَهُمْ عَن دُعَأيِهِمْ غَـفِلُونَ
وَإِذَا حُشِرَ النَّاسُ كَانُواْ لَهُمْ أَعْدَاءً وَكَانُواْ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كَـفِرِينَ
And who is more astray than one who calls upon, besides Allah, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls to them And when mankind are gathered, they will become their enemies and will deny their worshipping. (46;5-6)
As-Suddi said,
كَلَّ
سَيَكْفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ
(Nay, but they will deny their worship of them),
"This means their worshipping of the idols. "
Allah said,
وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ ضِدًّا
and will become their adversaries,
contrary to what they hoped for from these gods.
As-Suddi said,
"They will be in severe opposition and argument."
Ad-Dahhak said,
"This means enemies."

Concerning Allah's statement,
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا الشَّيَاطِينَ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ تَوُزُّهُمْ أَزًّا
