Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Kahf Verse 87
Al-Kahf [18]: 87 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
قَالَ اَمَّا مَنْ ظَلَمَ فَسَوْفَ نُعَذِّبُهٗ ثُمَّ يُرَدُّ اِلٰى رَبِّهٖ فَيُعَذِّبُهٗ عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا (الكهف : ١٨)

Transliteration:
Qaala amaa man zalama fasawfa nu'azzibuhoo summa yuraddu ilaa Rabbihee fa yu 'azzibuhoo azaaban nukraa(QS. al-Kahf:87)
English / Sahih Translation:
He said, "As for one who wrongs, we will punish him. Then he will be returned to his Lord, and He will punish him with a terrible punishment [i.e., Hellfire]. (QS. Al-Kahf, ayah 87)

He said, “As for him who does wrong, we shall punish him, then he will be sent back to his Lord, and He will punish him with a severe punishment.

English Literal
He said: "As for who caused injustice/oppression, so we will/shall torture him, then he be returned to his Lord, so He tortures him an awful/obscene/severe torture."

Until when he reached the setting of the sun (furthest West), he found it setting in a black muddy spring and he found thereat a people. We said, "O Zul´qarneyn! You have authority either to torment these people, or treat them kindly."

Tafsir jalalayn
He said, `As for him who does wrong, by way of [practising] idolatry, we shall chastise him, We shall slay him. Then he shall be returned to his Lord and He shall chastise him with an awful chastisement (read nukran or nukuran), that is, a severe [one], in the Fire.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
قَالَ أَمَّا مَن ظَلَمَ
He said;"As for him who does wrong,
meaning who persists in his Kufr and in associating others in worship with his Lord,
فَسَوْفَ نُعَذِّبُهُ
we shall punish him,
Qatadah said, i.e., by killing him.
ثُمَّ يُرَدُّ إِلَى رَبِّهِ فَيُعَذِّبُهُ عَذَابًا نُّكْرًا
and then he will be brought back unto his Lord, Who will punish him with a terrible torment.
meaning a severe, far-reaching and painful punishment.
This implies a confirmation of the Hereafter and the reward and punishment
