اَوْ تَكُوْنَ لَكَ جَنَّةٌ مِّنْ نَّخِيْلٍ وَّعِنَبٍ فَتُفَجِّرَ الْاَنْهٰرَ خِلٰلَهَا تَفْجِيْرًاۙ ٩١
- aw
- أَوْ
- Or
- takūna
- تَكُونَ
- you have
- laka
- لَكَ
- for you
- jannatun
- جَنَّةٌ
- a garden
- min
- مِّن
- of
- nakhīlin
- نَّخِيلٍ
- date-palms
- waʿinabin
- وَعِنَبٍ
- and grapes
- fatufajjira
- فَتُفَجِّرَ
- and cause to gush forth
- l-anhāra
- ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَ
- the rivers
- khilālahā
- خِلَٰلَهَا
- within them
- tafjīran
- تَفْجِيرًا
- abundantly
Or [until] you have a garden of palm trees and grapes and make rivers gush forth within them in force [and abundance] (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 91)Tafsir
اَوْ تُسْقِطَ السَّمَاۤءَ كَمَا زَعَمْتَ عَلَيْنَا كِسَفًا اَوْ تَأْتِيَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ قَبِيْلًاۙ ٩٢
- aw
- أَوْ
- Or
- tus'qiṭa
- تُسْقِطَ
- you cause to fall
- l-samāa
- ٱلسَّمَآءَ
- the sky
- kamā
- كَمَا
- as
- zaʿamta
- زَعَمْتَ
- you have claimed
- ʿalaynā
- عَلَيْنَا
- upon us
- kisafan
- كِسَفًا
- (in) pieces
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- tatiya
- تَأْتِىَ
- you bring
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- wal-malāikati
- وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
- and the Angels
- qabīlan
- قَبِيلًا
- before (us)
Or you make the heaven fall upon us in fragments as you have claimed or you bring Allah and the angels before [us] (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 92)Tafsir
اَوْ يَكُوْنَ لَكَ بَيْتٌ مِّنْ زُخْرُفٍ اَوْ تَرْقٰى فِى السَّمَاۤءِ ۗوَلَنْ نُّؤْمِنَ لِرُقِيِّكَ حَتّٰى تُنَزِّلَ عَلَيْنَا كِتٰبًا نَّقْرَؤُهٗۗ قُلْ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيْ هَلْ كُنْتُ اِلَّا بَشَرًا رَّسُوْلًا ࣖ ٩٣
- aw
- أَوْ
- Or
- yakūna
- يَكُونَ
- is
- laka
- لَكَ
- for you
- baytun
- بَيْتٌ
- a house
- min
- مِّن
- of
- zukh'rufin
- زُخْرُفٍ
- ornament
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- tarqā
- تَرْقَىٰ
- you ascend
- fī
- فِى
- into
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- walan
- وَلَن
- And never
- nu'mina
- نُّؤْمِنَ
- we will believe
- liruqiyyika
- لِرُقِيِّكَ
- in your ascension
- ḥattā
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- tunazzila
- تُنَزِّلَ
- you bring down
- ʿalaynā
- عَلَيْنَا
- to us
- kitāban
- كِتَٰبًا
- a book
- naqra-uhu
- نَّقْرَؤُهُۥۗ
- we could read it"
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- sub'ḥāna
- سُبْحَانَ
- "Glorified (is)
- rabbī
- رَبِّى
- my Lord!
- hal
- هَلْ
- "What
- kuntu
- كُنتُ
- am I
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- basharan
- بَشَرًا
- a human
- rasūlan
- رَّسُولًا
- a Messenger"
Or you have a house of ornament [i.e., gold] or you ascend into the sky. And [even then], we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book we may read." Say, "Exalted is my Lord! Was I ever but a human messenger?" (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 93)Tafsir
وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ اَنْ يُّؤْمِنُوْٓا اِذْ جَاۤءَهُمُ الْهُدٰٓى اِلَّآ اَنْ قَالُوْٓا اَبَعَثَ اللّٰهُ بَشَرًا رَّسُوْلًا ٩٤
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And what
- manaʿa
- مَنَعَ
- prevented
- l-nāsa
- ٱلنَّاسَ
- the people
- an
- أَن
- that
- yu'minū
- يُؤْمِنُوٓا۟
- they believe
- idh
- إِذْ
- when
- jāahumu
- جَآءَهُمُ
- came to them
- l-hudā
- ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
- the guidance
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- except
- an
- أَن
- that
- qālū
- قَالُوٓا۟
- they said
- abaʿatha
- أَبَعَثَ
- "Has Allah sent
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- "Has Allah sent
- basharan
- بَشَرًا
- a human
- rasūlan
- رَّسُولًا
- Messenger?"
And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them except that they said, "Has Allah sent a human messenger?" (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 94)Tafsir
قُلْ لَّوْ كَانَ فِى الْاَرْضِ مَلٰۤىِٕكَةٌ يَّمْشُوْنَ مُطْمَىِٕنِّيْنَ لَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَلَكًا رَّسُوْلًا ٩٥

- Say
- law
- لَّوْ
- "If
- kāna
- كَانَ
- (there) were
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- malāikatun
- مَلَٰٓئِكَةٌ
- Angels
- yamshūna
- يَمْشُونَ
- walking
- muṭ'ma-innīna
- مُطْمَئِنِّينَ
- securely
- lanazzalnā
- لَنَزَّلْنَا
- surely We (would) have sent down
- ʿalayhim
- عَلَيْهِم
- to them
- mina
- مِّنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the heaven
- malakan
- مَلَكًا
- an Angel
- rasūlan
- رَّسُولًا
- (as) a Messenger"
Say, "If there were upon the earth angels walking securely, We would have sent down to them from the heaven an angel [as a] messenger." (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 95)Tafsir
قُلْ كَفٰى بِاللّٰهِ شَهِيْدًاۢ بَيْنِيْ وَبَيْنَكُمْۗ اِنَّهٗ كَانَ بِعِبَادِهٖ خَبِيْرًاۢ بَصِيْرًا ٩٦
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- kafā
- كَفَىٰ
- "Sufficient is
- bil-lahi
- بِٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- shahīdan
- شَهِيدًۢا
- (as) a witness
- baynī
- بَيْنِى
- between me
- wabaynakum
- وَبَيْنَكُمْۚ
- and between you
- innahu
- إِنَّهُۥ
- Indeed He
- kāna
- كَانَ
- is
- biʿibādihi
- بِعِبَادِهِۦ
- of His slaves
- khabīran
- خَبِيرًۢا
- All-Aware
- baṣīran
- بَصِيرًا
- All-Seer"
Say, "Sufficient is Allah as Witness between me and you. Indeed He is ever, concerning His servants, Aware and Seeing." (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 96)Tafsir
وَمَنْ يَّهْدِ اللّٰهُ فَهُوَ الْمُهْتَدِۚ وَمَنْ يُّضْلِلْ فَلَنْ تَجِدَ لَهُمْ اَوْلِيَاۤءَ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖۗ وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيٰمَةِ عَلٰى وُجُوْهِهِمْ عُمْيًا وَّبُكْمًا وَّصُمًّاۗ مَأْوٰىهُمْ جَهَنَّمُۗ كُلَّمَا خَبَتْ زِدْنٰهُمْ سَعِيْرًا ٩٧
- waman
- وَمَن
- And whoever
- yahdi
- يَهْدِ
- Allah guides
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah guides
- fahuwa
- فَهُوَ
- then he (is)
- l-muh'tadi
- ٱلْمُهْتَدِۖ
- the guided one
- waman
- وَمَن
- and whoever
- yuḍ'lil
- يُضْلِلْ
- He lets go astray
- falan
- فَلَن
- then never
- tajida
- تَجِدَ
- you will find
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- awliyāa
- أَوْلِيَآءَ
- protectors
- min
- مِن
- besides Him
- dūnihi
- دُونِهِۦۖ
- besides Him
- wanaḥshuruhum
- وَنَحْشُرُهُمْ
- And We will gather them
- yawma
- يَوْمَ
- (on) the Day
- l-qiyāmati
- ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ
- (of) the Resurrection
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- wujūhihim
- وُجُوهِهِمْ
- their faces
- ʿum'yan
- عُمْيًا
- blind
- wabuk'man
- وَبُكْمًا
- and dumb
- waṣumman
- وَصُمًّاۖ
- and deaf
- mawāhum
- مَّأْوَىٰهُمْ
- Their abode
- jahannamu
- جَهَنَّمُۖ
- (is) Hell
- kullamā
- كُلَّمَا
- every time
- khabat
- خَبَتْ
- it subsides
- zid'nāhum
- زِدْنَٰهُمْ
- We (will) increase (for) them
- saʿīran
- سَعِيرًا
- the blazing fire
And whoever Allah guides – he is the [rightly] guided; and whoever He sends astray – you will never find for them protectors besides Him, and We will gather them on the Day of Resurrection [fallen] on their faces – blind, dumb and deaf. Their refuge is Hell; every time it subsides, We increase [for] them blazing fire. (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 97)Tafsir
ذٰلِكَ جَزَاۤؤُهُمْ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا وَقَالُوْٓا ءَاِذَا كُنَّا عِظَامًا وَّرُفَاتًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبْعُوْثُوْنَ خَلْقًا جَدِيْدًا ٩٨
- dhālika
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- jazāuhum
- جَزَآؤُهُم
- (is) their recompense
- bi-annahum
- بِأَنَّهُمْ
- because they
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- biāyātinā
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
- in Our Verses
- waqālū
- وَقَالُوٓا۟
- and said
- a-idhā
- أَءِذَا
- "When
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- we are
- ʿiẓāman
- عِظَٰمًا
- bones
- warufātan
- وَرُفَٰتًا
- and crumbled particles
- a-innā
- أَءِنَّا
- will we
- lamabʿūthūna
- لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
- surely (be) resurrected
- khalqan
- خَلْقًا
- (as) a creation
- jadīdan
- جَدِيدًا
- new"
That is their recompense because they disbelieved in Our verses and said, "When we are bones and crumbled particles, will we [truly] be resurrected [in] a new creation?" (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 98)Tafsir
۞ اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ قَادِرٌ عَلٰٓى اَنْ يَّخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَهُمْ اَجَلًا لَّا رَيْبَ فِيْهِۗ فَاَبَى الظّٰلِمُوْنَ اِلَّا كُفُوْرًا ٩٩
- awalam
- أَوَلَمْ
- Do not
- yaraw
- يَرَوْا۟
- they see
- anna
- أَنَّ
- that
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِى
- the One Who
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- created
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍa
- وَٱلْأَرْضَ
- and the earth
- qādirun
- قَادِرٌ
- (is) Able
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰٓ
- [on]
- an
- أَن
- to
- yakhluqa
- يَخْلُقَ
- create
- mith'lahum
- مِثْلَهُمْ
- the like of them?
- wajaʿala
- وَجَعَلَ
- And He has made
- lahum
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- ajalan
- أَجَلًا
- a term
- lā
- لَّا
- no
- rayba
- رَيْبَ
- doubt
- fīhi
- فِيهِ
- in it
- fa-abā
- فَأَبَى
- But refused
- l-ẓālimūna
- ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
- the wrongdoers
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- kufūran
- كُفُورًا
- disbelief
Do they not see that Allah, who created the heavens and earth, is [the one] Able to create the likes of them? And He has appointed for them a term, about which there is no doubt. But the wrongdoers refuse except disbelief. (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 99)Tafsir
قُلْ لَّوْ اَنْتُمْ تَمْلِكُوْنَ خَزَاۤىِٕنَ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّيْٓ اِذًا لَّاَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ الْاِنْفَاقِۗ وَكَانَ الْاِنْسَانُ قَتُوْرًا ࣖ ١٠٠

- Say
- law
- لَّوْ
- "If
- antum
- أَنتُمْ
- you
- tamlikūna
- تَمْلِكُونَ
- possess
- khazāina
- خَزَآئِنَ
- the treasures
- raḥmati
- رَحْمَةِ
- (of) the Mercy
- rabbī
- رَبِّىٓ
- (of) my Lord
- idhan
- إِذًا
- then
- la-amsaktum
- لَّأَمْسَكْتُمْ
- surely you would withhold
- khashyata
- خَشْيَةَ
- (out of) fear
- l-infāqi
- ٱلْإِنفَاقِۚ
- (of) spending"
- wakāna
- وَكَانَ
- And is
- l-insānu
- ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ
- man
- qatūran
- قَتُورًا
- stingy
Say [to them], "If you possessed the depositories of the mercy of my Lord, then you would withhold out of fear of spending." And ever has man been stingy. (QS. [17] Al-Isra: 100)Tafsir
