Al-Qur'an Surah An-Nahl Verse 65

Allah sent down water from the heavens and revived the land with it after it was dead. Surely, in that there is a sign for a people who listen.

And God sends down water from the heaven and therewith revives the earth, with plants, after its death, [after] its drying up. Surely in that, which is mentioned, there is a sign, indicating the [truth of the] Resurrection, for a people who listen, listening and then reflecting.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَاللّهُ أَنزَلَ مِنَ الْسَّمَاء مَاء فَأَحْيَا بِهِ الَارْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا

And Allah sends water down from the sky, then He revives the earth with it after its death.

Just as Allah causes the Qur'an to bring life to hearts that were dead from disbelief, so He brings the earth to life after it has died, by sending down water from the sky.

إِنَّ فِي ذَلِكَ لايَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يَسْمَعُونَ



Surely that is a sign for people who listen.

meaning those who understand the words and their meanings
