An-Nahl [16]: 49 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

وَلِلّٰهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِ مِنْ دَاۤبَّةٍ وَّالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ (النحل : ١٦)

walillahi
وَلِلَّهِ
And to Allah
yasjudu
يَسْجُدُ
prostrate
مَا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
l-samāwāti
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
the heavens
wamā
وَمَا
and whatever
فِى
(is) in
l-arḍi
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth
min
مِن
of
dābbatin
دَآبَّةٍ
moving creatures
wal-malāikatu
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
and the Angels
wahum
وَهُمْ
and they
لَا
(are) not
yastakbirūna
يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
arrogant

Transliteration:

Wa lillaahi yasjudu maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi min daaabbatinw walma laaa'ikatu wa hum laa yastakbiroon (QS. an-Naḥl:49)

English / Sahih Translation:

And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant. (QS. An-Nahl, ayah 49)

To Allah prostrates itself whatever creature there is in the heavens and in the earth, and the angels, and they show no arrogance.

English Literal

And to God prostrates what (is) in the skies/space and what (is) in the earth/Planet Earth from a walker/creeper/crawler , and the angels , and they are not being arrogant.

To God bows down everything in the heavens and everything on earth—every living creature, and the angels, and without being proud.

Tafsir jalalayn

And to God prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of living creatures, that is, [of] every single thing that moves thereupon; in other words, to Him it [everything] is subservient in terms of what is required of it -- most of what is given [by way of example] is non-rational, since these are [the more] numerous -- and the angels [also prostrate] -- these are singled out for mention because of their merit -- and they are not arrogant, they do [not] disdain to worship Him.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

وَلِلّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الَارْضِ مِن دَابَّةٍ

And to Allah prostrate all that are in the heavens and all that are in the earth, of the moving creatures,

As Allah says;

وَللَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَن فِى السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَظِلَـلُهُم بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالاٌّصَالِ

And to Allah (alone) all who are in the heavens and the earth fall in prostration, willingly or unwillingly, and so do their shadows in the mornings and in the afternoons. (13;15)

وَالْمَليِكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ



and the angels, and they are not proud.

means, they prostrate to Allah and are not too proud to worship Him
