41
وَالَّذِيْنَ هَاجَرُوْا فِى اللّٰهِ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا ظُلِمُوْا لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً ۗوَلَاَجْرُ الْاٰخِرَةِ اَكْبَرُۘ لَوْ كَانُوْا يَعْلَمُوْنَۙ ٤١
- wa-alladhīna
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- hājarū
- هَاجَرُوا۟
- emigrated
- fī
- فِى
- in (the way)
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (of) Allah
- min
- مِنۢ
- after
- baʿdi
- بَعْدِ
- after
- mā
- مَا
- [what]
- ẓulimū
- ظُلِمُوا۟
- they were wronged
- lanubawwi-annahum
- لَنُبَوِّئَنَّهُمْ
- surely We will give them position
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-dun'yā
- ٱلدُّنْيَا
- the world
- ḥasanatan
- حَسَنَةًۖ
- good
- wala-ajru
- وَلَأَجْرُ
- but surely the reward
- l-ākhirati
- ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- (of) the Hereafter
- akbaru
- أَكْبَرُۚ
- (is) greater
- law
- لَوْ
- if
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they
- yaʿlamūna
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- know
And those who emigrated for [the cause of] Allah after they had been wronged – We will surely settle them in this world in a good place; but the reward of the Hereafter is greater, if only they could know. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 41)Tafsir
42
الَّذِيْنَ صَبَرُوْا وَعَلٰى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُوْنَ ٤٢
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- Those who
- ṣabarū
- صَبَرُوا۟
- (are) patient
- waʿalā
- وَعَلَىٰ
- and on
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْ
- their Lord
- yatawakkalūna
- يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
- they put their trust
[They are] those who endured patiently and upon their Lord relied. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 42)Tafsir
43
وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوْحِيْٓ اِلَيْهِمْ فَاسْـَٔلُوْٓا اَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَۙ ٤٣
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- And not
- arsalnā
- أَرْسَلْنَا
- We sent
- min
- مِن
- before you
- qablika
- قَبْلِكَ
- before you
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- rijālan
- رِجَالًا
- men
- nūḥī
- نُّوحِىٓ
- We revealed
- ilayhim
- إِلَيْهِمْۚ
- to them
- fasalū
- فَسْـَٔلُوٓا۟
- so ask
- ahla
- أَهْلَ
- (the) people
- l-dhik'ri
- ٱلذِّكْرِ
- (of) the Reminder
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntum
- كُنتُمْ
- you
- lā
- لَا
- (do) not
- taʿlamūna
- تَعْلَمُونَ
- know
And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message [i.e., former scriptures] if you do not know. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 43)Tafsir
44
بِالْبَيِّنٰتِ وَالزُّبُرِۗ وَاَنْزَلْنَآ اِلَيْكَ الذِّكْرَ لِتُبَيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ مَا نُزِّلَ اِلَيْهِمْ وَلَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوْنَ ٤٤
- bil-bayināti
- بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ
- With the clear proofs
- wal-zuburi
- وَٱلزُّبُرِۗ
- and the Books
- wa-anzalnā
- وَأَنزَلْنَآ
- And We sent down
- ilayka
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you
- l-dhik'ra
- ٱلذِّكْرَ
- the Remembrance
- litubayyina
- لِتُبَيِّنَ
- that you may make clear
- lilnnāsi
- لِلنَّاسِ
- to the mankind
- mā
- مَا
- what
- nuzzila
- نُزِّلَ
- has been sent down
- ilayhim
- إِلَيْهِمْ
- to them
- walaʿallahum
- وَلَعَلَّهُمْ
- and that they may
- yatafakkarūna
- يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
- reflect
[We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message [i.e., the Quran] that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 44)Tafsir
45
اَفَاَمِنَ الَّذِيْنَ مَكَرُوا السَّيِّاٰتِ اَنْ يَّخْسِفَ اللّٰهُ بِهِمُ الْاَرْضَ اَوْ يَأْتِيَهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُوْنَۙ ٤٥
- afa-amina
- أَفَأَمِنَ
- Do then feel secure
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- makarū
- مَكَرُوا۟
- plotted
- l-sayiāti
- ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
- the evil deeds
- an
- أَن
- that
- yakhsifa
- يَخْسِفَ
- Allah will cave
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah will cave
- bihimu
- بِهِمُ
- with them
- l-arḍa
- ٱلْأَرْضَ
- the earth
- aw
- أَوْ
- or
- yatiyahumu
- يَأْتِيَهُمُ
- will come to them
- l-ʿadhābu
- ٱلْعَذَابُ
- the punishment
- min
- مِنْ
- from
- ḥaythu
- حَيْثُ
- where
- lā
- لَا
- not
- yashʿurūna
- يَشْعُرُونَ
- they perceive?
Then, do those who have planned evil deeds feel secure that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that the punishment will not come upon them from where they do not perceive? (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 45)Tafsir
46
اَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ فِيْ تَقَلُّبِهِمْ فَمَا هُمْ بِمُعْجِزِيْنَۙ ٤٦
- aw
- أَوْ
- Or
- yakhudhahum
- يَأْخُذَهُمْ
- that He may seize them
- fī
- فِى
- in
- taqallubihim
- تَقَلُّبِهِمْ
- their going to and fro
- famā
- فَمَا
- then not
- hum
- هُم
- they
- bimuʿ'jizīna
- بِمُعْجِزِينَ
- will be able to escape?
Or that He would not seize them during their [usual] activity, and they could not cause failure [i.e., escape from Him]? (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 46)Tafsir
47
اَوْ يَأْخُذَهُمْ عَلٰى تَخَوُّفٍۗ فَاِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌ ٤٧
- aw
- أَوْ
- Or
- yakhudhahum
- يَأْخُذَهُمْ
- that He may seize them
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- with
- takhawwufin
- تَخَوُّفٍ
- a gradual wasting
- fa-inna
- فَإِنَّ
- But indeed
- rabbakum
- رَبَّكُمْ
- your Lord
- laraūfun
- لَرَءُوفٌ
- (is) surely Full of Kindness
- raḥīmun
- رَّحِيمٌ
- Most Merciful
Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 47)Tafsir
48
اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اِلٰى مَا خَلَقَ اللّٰهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ يَّتَفَيَّؤُا ظِلٰلُهٗ عَنِ الْيَمِيْنِ وَالشَّمَاۤىِٕلِ سُجَّدًا لِّلّٰهِ وَهُمْ دَاخِرُوْنَ ٤٨
- awalam
- أَوَلَمْ
- Have not
- yaraw
- يَرَوْا۟
- they seen
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- [towards]
- mā
- مَا
- what
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- Allah has created
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah has created
- min
- مِن
- from
- shayin
- شَىْءٍ
- a thing?
- yatafayya-u
- يَتَفَيَّؤُا۟
- Incline
- ẓilāluhu
- ظِلَٰلُهُۥ
- their shadows
- ʿani
- عَنِ
- to
- l-yamīni
- ٱلْيَمِينِ
- the right
- wal-shamāili
- وَٱلشَّمَآئِلِ
- and to the left
- sujjadan
- سُجَّدًا
- prostrating
- lillahi
- لِّلَّهِ
- to Allah
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- while they
- dākhirūna
- دَٰخِرُونَ
- (are) humble?
Have they not considered what things Allah has created? Their shadows incline to the right and to the left, prostrating to Allah, while they [i.e., those creations] are humble. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 48)Tafsir
49
وَلِلّٰهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِ مِنْ دَاۤبَّةٍ وَّالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ ٤٩
- walillahi
- وَلِلَّهِ
- And to Allah
- yasjudu
- يَسْجُدُ
- prostrate
- mā
- مَا
- whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and whatever
- fī
- فِى
- (is) in
- l-arḍi
- ٱلْأَرْضِ
- the earth
- min
- مِن
- of
- dābbatin
- دَآبَّةٍ
- moving creatures
- wal-malāikatu
- وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
- and the Angels
- wahum
- وَهُمْ
- and they
- lā
- لَا
- (are) not
- yastakbirūna
- يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
- arrogant
And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 49)Tafsir
50
يَخَافُوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ مِّنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَيَفْعَلُوْنَ مَا يُؤْمَرُوْنَ ࣖ ۩ ٥٠
- yakhāfūna
- يَخَافُونَ
- They fear
- rabbahum
- رَبَّهُم
- their Lord
- min
- مِّن
- above them
- fawqihim
- فَوْقِهِمْ
- above them
- wayafʿalūna
- وَيَفْعَلُونَ
- and they do
- mā
- مَا
- what
- yu'marūna
- يُؤْمَرُونَ۩
- they are commanded
They fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 50)Tafsir
