1
اَتٰىٓ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلُوْهُ ۗسُبْحٰنَهٗ وَتَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ١
- atā
- أَتَىٰٓ
- Will come
- amru
- أَمْرُ
- (the) command of Allah
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- (the) command of Allah
- falā
- فَلَا
- so (do) not
- tastaʿjilūhu
- تَسْتَعْجِلُوهُۚ
- (be) impatient for it
- sub'ḥānahu
- سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ
- Glorified is He
- wataʿālā
- وَتَعَٰلَىٰ
- and Exalted (is) He
- ʿammā
- عَمَّا
- above what
- yush'rikūna
- يُشْرِكُونَ
- they associate
The command of Allah is coming, so be not impatient for it. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 1)Tafsir
2
يُنَزِّلُ الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةَ بِالرُّوْحِ مِنْ اَمْرِهٖ عَلٰى مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهٖٓ اَنْ اَنْذِرُوْٓا اَنَّهٗ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنَا۠ فَاتَّقُوْنِ ٢
- yunazzilu
- يُنَزِّلُ
- He sends down
- l-malāikata
- ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
- the Angels
- bil-rūḥi
- بِٱلرُّوحِ
- with the inspiration
- min
- مِنْ
- of
- amrihi
- أَمْرِهِۦ
- His Command
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- upon
- man
- مَن
- whom
- yashāu
- يَشَآءُ
- He wills
- min
- مِنْ
- of
- ʿibādihi
- عِبَادِهِۦٓ
- His slaves
- an
- أَنْ
- that
- andhirū
- أَنذِرُوٓا۟
- "Warn
- annahu
- أَنَّهُۥ
- that [He]
- lā
- لَآ
- (there is) no
- ilāha
- إِلَٰهَ
- god
- illā
- إِلَّآ
- except
- anā
- أَنَا۠
- Me
- fa-ittaqūni
- فَٱتَّقُونِ
- so fear Me"
He sends down the angels, with the inspiration [i.e., revelation] of His command, upon whom He wills of His servants, [telling them], "Warn that there is no deity except Me; so fear Me." (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 2)Tafsir
3
خَلَقَ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّۗ تَعٰلٰى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ٣
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- He created
- l-samāwāti
- ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
- the heavens
- wal-arḍa
- وَٱلْأَرْضَ
- and the earth
- bil-ḥaqi
- بِٱلْحَقِّۚ
- in truth
- taʿālā
- تَعَٰلَىٰ
- Exalted is He
- ʿammā
- عَمَّا
- above what
- yush'rikūna
- يُشْرِكُونَ
- they associate
He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 3)Tafsir
4
خَلَقَ الْاِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُّطْفَةٍ فَاِذَا هُوَ خَصِيْمٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ٤
- khalaqa
- خَلَقَ
- He created
- l-insāna
- ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ
- the human kind
- min
- مِن
- from
- nuṭ'fatin
- نُّطْفَةٍ
- a minute quantity of semen
- fa-idhā
- فَإِذَا
- then behold
- huwa
- هُوَ
- he
- khaṣīmun
- خَصِيمٌ
- (is) an opponent
- mubīnun
- مُّبِينٌ
- clear
He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once he is a clear adversary. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 4)Tafsir
5
وَالْاَنْعَامَ خَلَقَهَا لَكُمْ فِيْهَا دِفْءٌ وَّمَنَافِعُ وَمِنْهَا تَأْكُلُوْنَ ٥
- wal-anʿāma
- وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمَ
- And the cattle
- khalaqahā
- خَلَقَهَاۗ
- He created them
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- for you
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- in them
- dif'on
- دِفْءٌ
- (is) warmth
- wamanāfiʿu
- وَمَنَٰفِعُ
- and benefits
- wamin'hā
- وَمِنْهَا
- and from them
- takulūna
- تَأْكُلُونَ
- you eat
And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 5)Tafsir
6
وَلَكُمْ فِيْهَا جَمَالٌ حِيْنَ تُرِيْحُوْنَ وَحِيْنَ تَسْرَحُوْنَۖ ٦
- walakum
- وَلَكُمْ
- And for you
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- in them
- jamālun
- جَمَالٌ
- (is) beauty
- ḥīna
- حِينَ
- when
- turīḥūna
- تُرِيحُونَ
- you bring them in
- waḥīna
- وَحِينَ
- and when
- tasraḥūna
- تَسْرَحُونَ
- you take them out
And for you in them is [the enjoyment of] beauty when you bring them in [for the evening] and when you send them out [to pasture]. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 6)Tafsir
7
وَتَحْمِلُ اَثْقَالَكُمْ اِلٰى بَلَدٍ لَّمْ تَكُوْنُوْا بٰلِغِيْهِ اِلَّا بِشِقِّ الْاَنْفُسِۗ اِنَّ رَبَّكُمْ لَرَءُوْفٌ رَّحِيْمٌۙ ٧
- wataḥmilu
- وَتَحْمِلُ
- And they carry
- athqālakum
- أَثْقَالَكُمْ
- your loads
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- baladin
- بَلَدٍ
- a land
- lam
- لَّمْ
- not
- takūnū
- تَكُونُوا۟
- you could
- bālighīhi
- بَٰلِغِيهِ
- reach it
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- bishiqqi
- بِشِقِّ
- with great trouble
- l-anfusi
- ٱلْأَنفُسِۚ
- (to) yourselves
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- rabbakum
- رَبَّكُمْ
- your Lord
- laraūfun
- لَرَءُوفٌ
- surely is Most Kind
- raḥīmun
- رَّحِيمٌ
- Most Merciful
And they carry your loads to a land you could not have reached except with difficulty to yourselves. Indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 7)Tafsir
8
وَّالْخَيْلَ وَالْبِغَالَ وَالْحَمِيْرَ لِتَرْكَبُوْهَا وَزِيْنَةًۗ وَيَخْلُقُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ ٨
- wal-khayla
- وَٱلْخَيْلَ
- And horses
- wal-bighāla
- وَٱلْبِغَالَ
- and mules
- wal-ḥamīra
- وَٱلْحَمِيرَ
- and donkeys
- litarkabūhā
- لِتَرْكَبُوهَا
- for you to ride them
- wazīnatan
- وَزِينَةًۚ
- and (as) adornment
- wayakhluqu
- وَيَخْلُقُ
- And He creates
- mā
- مَا
- what
- lā
- لَا
- not
- taʿlamūna
- تَعْلَمُونَ
- you know
And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 8)Tafsir
9
وَعَلَى اللّٰهِ قَصْدُ السَّبِيْلِ وَمِنْهَا جَاۤىِٕرٌ ۗوَلَوْ شَاۤءَ لَهَدٰىكُمْ اَجْمَعِيْنَ ࣖ ٩
- waʿalā
- وَعَلَى
- And upon
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- qaṣdu
- قَصْدُ
- (is) the direction
- l-sabīli
- ٱلسَّبِيلِ
- (of) the way
- wamin'hā
- وَمِنْهَا
- and among them
- jāirun
- جَآئِرٌۚ
- (are) crooked
- walaw
- وَلَوْ
- And if
- shāa
- شَآءَ
- He willed
- lahadākum
- لَهَدَىٰكُمْ
- surely He would have guided you
- ajmaʿīna
- أَجْمَعِينَ
- all
And upon Allah is the direction of the [right] way, and among them [i.e., the various paths] are those deviating. And if He willed, He could have guided you all. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 9)Tafsir
10
هُوَ الَّذِيْٓ اَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاۤءِ مَاۤءً لَّكُمْ مِّنْهُ شَرَابٌ وَّمِنْهُ شَجَرٌ فِيْهِ تُسِيْمُوْنَ ١٠
- huwa
- هُوَ
- He
- alladhī
- ٱلَّذِىٓ
- (is) the One Who
- anzala
- أَنزَلَ
- sends down
- mina
- مِنَ
- from
- l-samāi
- ٱلسَّمَآءِ
- the sky
- māan
- مَآءًۖ
- water
- lakum
- لَّكُم
- for you
- min'hu
- مِّنْهُ
- of it
- sharābun
- شَرَابٌ
- (is) drink
- wamin'hu
- وَمِنْهُ
- and from it
- shajarun
- شَجَرٌ
- (grows) vegetation
- fīhi
- فِيهِ
- in which
- tusīmūna
- تُسِيمُونَ
- you pasture your cattle
It is He who sends down rain from the sky; from it is drink and from it is foliage in which you pasture [animals]. (QS. [16] An-Nahl: 10)Tafsir
