Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Hijr Verse 63
Al-Hijr [15]: 63 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
قَالُوْا بَلْ جِئْنٰكَ بِمَا كَانُوْا فِيْهِ يَمْتَرُوْنَ (الحجر : ١٥)

Transliteration:
Qaaloo bal ji'naaka bimaa kaanoo feehi yamtaroon(QS. al-Ḥijr:63)
English / Sahih Translation:
They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing, (QS. Al-Hijr, ayah 63)

They said, “No, but we have brought to you that (scourge) in which they have been doubting,

They said: "But we came to you, with what they were in it doubting/arguing."

Tafsir jalalayn
They said, `Rather, we have come to you because of that which they, your people, used to doubt, namely, the chastisement.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
He said;"Verily, you are people unknown to me."
They said;"Nay, we have come to you with that (torment) which they have been doubting."
meaning that they were bringing the punishment and destruction that the people doubted they would ever suffer from
