Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Hijr Verse 13
Al-Hijr [15]: 13 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
لَا يُؤْمِنُوْنَ بِهٖ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ (الحجر : ١٥)

Transliteration:
Laa yu'minoona bihee wa qad khalat sunnatul awwaleen(QS. al-Ḥijr:13)
English / Sahih Translation:
They will not believe in it, while there has already occurred the precedent of the former peoples. (QS. Al-Hijr, ayah 13)

(whereby) they do not believe in it (the Qur’ān), and this has been the way of earlier people.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir
لَا يُوْمِنُونَ بِهِ
They would not believe in it (the Qur'an);
وَقَدْ خَلَتْ سُنَّةُ الَاوَّلِينَ
and already the example of the ancients has gone forth.
meaning the destruction wrought by Allah on those who rejected His Messengers, and how He saved His Prophets and their followers in this world and in the Hereafter, is well known
