Al-Qur'an Surah Ar-Ra'd Verse 9
Ar-Ra'd [13]: 9 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
عٰلِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْكَبِيْرُ الْمُتَعَالِ (الرعد : ١٣)
- ʿālimu
- عَٰلِمُ
- Knower
- l-ghaybi
- ٱلْغَيْبِ
- (of) the unseen
- wal-shahādati
- وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِ
- and the witnessed
- l-kabīru
- ٱلْكَبِيرُ
- the Most Great
- l-mutaʿāli
- ٱلْمُتَعَالِ
- the Most High
Transliteration:
'Aalimul Ghaibi wash shahaadatil Kaabeerul Muta'aal(QS. ar-Raʿd:9)
English / Sahih Translation:
[He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Grand, the Exalted. (QS. Ar-Ra'd, ayah 9)

Tafseer Ibn Kathir
عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ
All-Knower of the Ghayb (the unseen) and the Shahadah (the witness able),
Who knows everything that the servants see and all what they cannot see, and none of it ever escapes His knowledge,
الْكَبِيرُ
the Most Great,
greater than everything,
الْمُتَعَالِ
the Most High.
above everything,
قَدْ أَحَاطَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عِلْمَا
(Allah) surrounds all things in (His) knowledge. (65;12),
and has full power over all things, the necks are under His control and the servants are subservient to Him, willingly or unwillingly
