Al-Qur'an Surah Yusuf Verse 97
Yusuf [12]: 97 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
قَالُوْا يٰٓاَبَانَا اسْتَغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَآ اِنَّا كُنَّا خٰطِـِٕيْنَ (يوسف : ١٢)
- qālū

- They said

- يَٰٓأَبَانَا
- "O our father!
- is'taghfir
- ٱسْتَغْفِرْ
- Ask forgiveness
- lanā
- لَنَا
- for us
- dhunūbanā
- ذُنُوبَنَآ
- (of) our sins
- innā
- إِنَّا
- Indeed we
- kunnā
- كُنَّا
- have been
- khāṭiīna
- خَٰطِـِٔينَ
- sinners"
Transliteration:
Qaaloo yaaa abaanas taghfir lanaa zunoo =banaaa innaa kunnaa khaati'een(QS. Yūsuf:97)
English / Sahih Translation:
They said, "O our father, ask for us forgiveness of our sins; indeed, we have been sinners." (QS. Yusuf, ayah 97)
