Al-Qur'an Surah Yusuf Verse 86
Yusuf [12]: 86 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
قَالَ اِنَّمَآ اَشْكُوْا بَثِّيْ وَحُزْنِيْٓ اِلَى اللّٰهِ وَاَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُوْنَ (يوسف : ١٢)

Transliteration:
Qaala innamaaa ashkoo bassee wa huzneee ilal laahi wa a'lamu minal laahi maa laa ta'lamoon(QS. Yūsuf:86)
English / Sahih Translation:
He said, "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know. (QS. Yusuf, ayah 86)

He said, “I do not complain of my anguish and sorrow to anyone but Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know.

English Literal
He said: "But I complain my grief/condition and my sadness/grief to God and I know from God what you do not know."161

Tafsir jalalayn
He said, to them; `I complain of my anguish -- (bathth is) severe grief, which cannot be endured unless it is proclaimed [yubaththu] to others -- and grief only to God, not to any other than Him, for it is worth complaining to Him; and I know from God what you do not know, [and that is] that Joseph's dream is true and that he is alive. Then he said;
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي إِلَى اللّهِ
He said;"I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allah."
When they said these words to him, Yaqub said,
إِنَّمَا أَشْكُو بَثِّي وَحُزْنِي
`(I only complain of my grief and sorrow) for the afflictions that struck me,
إِلَى اللّهِ
(to Allah) alone,
وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
and I know from Allah that which you know not.
I anticipate from Allah each and every type of goodness.'
Ibn Abbas commented on the meaning of,
وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ اللّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ
(and I know from Allah that which you know not),
"The vision that Yusuf saw is truthful and Allah will certainly make it come true."
