English / Sahih Translation:
And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. And it was not for us to associate anything with Allah. That is from the favor of Allah upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful. (QS. Yusuf, ayah 38)
Mufti Taqi Usmani
and I have followed the way of my fathers, Ibrāhīm, IsHāq and Ya‘qūb. It is not for us that we associate any partners with Allah. All this is a part of the favor Allah has bestowed upon us and upon the people, but most of the people are not grateful.
Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran
I follow the faith of my fathers: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is not ˹right˺ for us to associate anything with Allah ˹in worship˺. This is part of Allah’s grace upon us and humanity, but most people are not grateful.

and I have adopted the way of my forefathers - Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. It is not for us to associate any with Allah in His Divinity. It is out of Allah's grace upon us and upon mankind (that He did not require of us to serve any other than Allah), and yet most people do not give thanks.
Ahmed Ali

"I have followed the way of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It is not for us to associate anything with God as partner. This (His teaching and calling us to belief in Him without associating any partners with Him) is from God’s grace and bounty on us and on all people, but most people do not give thanks (in return, by believing firmly in His Oneness and worshipping Him alone).
Amatul Rahman Omar
`And I have followed the creed of my fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. It is not proper for us to associate anything as a partner with Allâh. That (He taught us unity of God) is entirely due to Allâh´s grace upon us and upon (other) people. But most people do not render thanks (for this blessing).
English Literal
And I followed my father`s/forefather`s, Abraham`s and Isaac`s and Jacob`s faith/religion, (it) was not for us that we share/make partners with God from a thing, that is from God`s grace on us, and on the people, and but most of the people do not thank/be grateful.

He said: The food with which you are fed shall not come to you, but I shall inform you of its interpretation before it comes to you. This is of what my Lord has taught me. Surely I have forsaken the religion of a people who believe not in Allah, and are deniers of the Hereafter.

Tafsir jalalayn
And I follow the creed of my fathers, Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. It never was, right, for us to associate anything (min shay'in; min is extra) with God -- on account of our [God-given] immunity [from error]. That, affirmation of [God's] Oneness, is from God's bounty to us and to mankind; but most people -- and these are the disbelievers -- do not give thanks, to God, and so they associate others with Him.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
And I have followed the religion of my fathers, - Ibrahim, Ishaq and Yaqub,
Yusuf said, `I have avoided the way of disbelief and polytheism, and followed the way of these honorable Messengers,' may Allah's peace and blessings be on them.
This, indeed, is the way of he who seeks the path of guidance and follows the way of the Messengers, all the while shunning the path of deviation. It is he whose heart Allah will guide, teaching him what he did not know beforehand. It is he whom Allah will make an Imam who is imitated in the way of righteousness, and a caller to the path of goodness.
Yusuf said next,
and never could we attribute any partners whatsoever to Allah. This is from the grace of Allah to us and to mankind,
this Tawhid -Monotheism-, affirming that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone without partners,
is from the grace of Allah to us,
He has revealed it to us and ordained it on us,
and to mankind,
to whom He has sent us as callers to Tawhid,
but most men thank not.
they do not admit Allah's favor and blessing of sending the Messengers to them, but rather,
Have changed the blessings of Allah into disbelief, and caused their people to dwell in the house of destruction. (14;28
