(The Daybreak)

bismillaahirrahmaanirrahiim
1

قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِۙ ١

qul
قُلْ
Say
aʿūdhu
أَعُوذُ
"I seek refuge
birabbi
بِرَبِّ
in (the) Lord
l-falaqi
ٱلْفَلَقِ
(of) the dawn
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak (QS. [113] Al-Falaq: 1)

مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَۙ ٢

From

شَرِّ
(the) evil
مَا
(of) what
khalaqa
خَلَقَ
He created
From the evil of that which He created (QS. [113] Al-Falaq: 2)

وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَۙ ٣

wamin
وَمِن
And from
sharri
شَرِّ
(the) evil
ghāsiqin
غَاسِقٍ
(of) darkness
idhā
إِذَا
when
waqaba
وَقَبَ
it settles
And from the evil of darkness when it settles (QS. [113] Al-Falaq: 3)

وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِى الْعُقَدِۙ ٤

wamin
وَمِن
And from
sharri
شَرِّ
(the) evil
l-nafāthāti
ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ
(of) the blowers
فِى
in
l-ʿuqadi
ٱلْعُقَدِ
the knots
And from the evil of the blowers in knots (QS. [113] Al-Falaq: 4)

وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ ࣖ ٥

wamin
وَمِن
And from
sharri
شَرِّ
(the) evil
ḥāsidin
حَاسِدٍ
(of) an envier
idhā
إِذَا
when
ḥasada
حَسَدَ
he envies"
And from the evil of an envier when he envies." (QS. [113] Al-Falaq: 5)
