Surah Al-Ikhlas - Word by Word
(The Sincerity)

قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ اَحَدٌۚ ١
- qul
- قُلْ
- Say
- huwa
- هُوَ
- "He
- l-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- (is) Allah
- aḥadun
- أَحَدٌ
- the One
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, (QS. [112] Al-Ikhlas: 1)Tafsir

اَللّٰهُ الصَّمَدُۚ ٢
- al-lahu
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah
- l-ṣamadu
- ٱلصَّمَدُ
- the Eternal the Absolute
Allah, the Eternal Refuge. (QS. [112] Al-Ikhlas: 2)Tafsir

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُوْلَدْۙ ٣
- lam
- لَمْ
- Not
- yalid
- يَلِدْ
- He begets
- walam
- وَلَمْ
- and not
- yūlad
- يُولَدْ
- He is begotten
He neither begets nor is born, (QS. [112] Al-Ikhlas: 3)Tafsir

وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَّهٗ كُفُوًا اَحَدٌ ࣖ ٤
- walam
- وَلَمْ
- And not
- yakun
- يَكُن
- is
- lahu
- لَّهُۥ
- for Him
- kufuwan
- كُفُوًا
- equivalent
- aḥadun
- أَحَدٌۢ
- any [one]"
Nor is there to Him any equivalent." (QS. [112] Al-Ikhlas: 4)Tafsir
