Al-Qur'an Surah Hud Verse 67
Hud [11]: 67 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
وَاَخَذَ الَّذِيْنَ ظَلَمُوا الصَّيْحَةُ فَاَصْبَحُوْا فِيْ دِيَارِهِمْ جٰثِمِيْنَۙ (هود : ١١)
- wa-akhadha
- وَأَخَذَ
- And seized
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- ẓalamū
- ظَلَمُوا۟
- wronged
- l-ṣayḥatu
- ٱلصَّيْحَةُ
- the thunderous blast
- fa-aṣbaḥū
- فَأَصْبَحُوا۟
- then they became
- fī
- فِى
- in
- diyārihim
- دِيَٰرِهِمْ
- their homes
- jāthimīna
- جَٰثِمِينَ
- fallen prone
Transliteration:
Wa akhazal lazeena zalamus saihatu fa asbahoo fee diyaarihim jaasimeena(QS. Hūd:67)
English / Sahih Translation:
And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses] fallen prone (QS. Hud, ayah 67)
