Hud [11]: 66 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer

فَلَمَّا جَاۤءَ اَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا صٰلِحًا وَّالَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا مَعَهٗ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَمِنْ خِزْيِ يَوْمِىِٕذٍ ۗاِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيْزُ (هود : ١١)

falammā
فَلَمَّا
So when
jāa
جَآءَ
came
amrunā
أَمْرُنَا
Our command
najjaynā
نَجَّيْنَا
We saved
ṣāliḥan
صَٰلِحًا
Salih
wa-alladhīna
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those who
āmanū
ءَامَنُوا۟
believed
maʿahu
مَعَهُۥ
with him
biraḥmatin
بِرَحْمَةٍ
by a Mercy
minnā
مِّنَّا
from Us
wamin
وَمِنْ
and from
khiz'yi
خِزْىِ
(the) disgrace
yawmi-idhin
يَوْمِئِذٍۗ
(of) that Day
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
rabbaka
رَبَّكَ
your Lord
huwa
هُوَ
He
l-qawiyu
ٱلْقَوِىُّ
(is) All- Strong
l-ʿazīzu
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
All-Mighty

Transliteration:

Falammaa jaaa'a amrunaa najjainaa Saalihanw wal lazeena aamanoo ma'ahoo birahmatim minnaa wa min khizyi Yawmi'iz inna Rabbaka Huwal Qawiyyul 'Azeez (QS. Hūd:66)

English / Sahih Translation:

So when Our command came, We saved Saleh and those who believed with him, by mercy from Us, and [saved them] from the disgrace of that day. Indeed, it is your Lord who is the Powerful, the Exalted in Might. (QS. Hud, ayah 66)

So, when came Our command, We saved SāliH and those who believed along with Him, out of mercy from Us, and (We saved them) from the disgrace of that day. Surely, your Lord is the Powerful, the All Mighty.

When Our command came, We saved Ṣâliḥ and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us and spared them the disgrace of that Day. Surely your Lord ˹alone˺ is the All-Powerful, Almighty.

this warning will not prove false.’ And so, when Our command was fulfilled, by Our mercy We saved Salih and his fellow believers from the disgrace of that day. [Prophet], it is your Lord who is the Strong, the Mighty One.

Then when Our decree came to pass We delivered Saleh and those who believed with Him by a mercy from Us, and from the humiliation of that day. Verily thy Lord! He is the Strong, the Mighty.

When Our Decree issued, We saved Salih and those who believed with him, by (special) Grace from Ourselves - and from the Ignominy of that day. For thy Lord - He is the Strong One, and able to enforce His Will.

Then, when Our command came to pass, We saved Salih and those who shared his faith through Our special mercy, from the disgrace of that day. Truly Your Lord is All-Strong, All-Mighty.

So, when Our command (of punishment) came We delivered Saleh by Our grace, and those who believed, with him, from the disgrace of that day. Verily your Lord is mighty and powerful.

Therefore when Our command came, We rescued Saleh and the Muslims who were with him by Our mercy, and from the disgrace of that day; indeed your Lord is the Strong, the Almighty.

So when Our edict came, We delivered Salih and the faithful who were with him by a mercy from Us and from the [punishment and] disgrace of that day. Your Lord is indeed the All-strong, the All-mighty.

So when Our judgment came to pass, We saved Salih and those who believed with him out of mercy from Us (because of their faith, righteousness, and patience), from the ignominy of that day. Surely your Lord is the All-Powerful, the All-Glorious with irresistible might.

Amatul Rahman Omar

And when Our command (about punishment) came (to pass), We saved Sâlih and with him the believers by a (special) mercy from Us and (We saved them) from the ignominy of that day. Surely, All-Powerful is your Lord (and) All Mighty.

English Literal

So when Our promise came We saved/rescued Saleh and those who believed with him, with mercy from Us and from that days` shame/scandal/disgrace, that your Lord, He is the powerful/strong, the glorious/mighty .

Faridul Haque

Therefore when Our command came, We rescued Saleh and the Muslims who were with him by Our mercy, and from the disgrace of that day; indeed your Lord is the Strong, the Almighty.

But they did hamstring her, and he said, "Enjoy yourselves in your houses for three days; this is the promise that shall not be belied."

So when Our Commandment came, We saved Salih (Saleh) and those who believed with him by a Mercy from Us, and from the disgrace of that Day. Verily, your Lord, He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.

But they hamstrung her, so he said: Enjoy yourselves in your houses for three days. That is a promise not to be belied.

So when Our commandment came, We saved Salih and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us, and from the disgrace of that Day. Verily, your Lord -- He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.

Then when Our command came by Our grace, We saved Salih and those who believed along with him from the disgrace of that day. Surely, your Lord is powerful and mighty.

Then, when Our command came, We saved Saleh and those who believed with him, by a mercy from Us, from the disgrace of that day. Your Lord is the Strong, the Mighty.

Tafsir jalalayn

So, when Our command came, for their destruction, We delivered Slih and those who believed with him, they numbered 4000, by a mercy from Us, and, We delivered them, from the ignominy of that day (read yawmi'idhin [if understood] as declinable, or read yawma'idhin on the basis of it [yawm, `day'] being annexed to an invariable [idhin, `that'], which is the majority view). Truly your Lord is the Strong, the Mighty, the Victor.

Tafseer Ibn Kathir

So when Our commandment came, We saved Salih and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us, and from the disgrace of that Day. Verily, your Lord -- He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.

وَأَخَذَ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ الصَّيْحَةُ فَأَصْبَحُواْ فِي دِيَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
