Al-Qur'an Surah Hud Verse 65
Hud [11]: 65 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
فَعَقَرُوْهَا فَقَالَ تَمَتَّعُوْا فِيْ دَارِكُمْ ثَلٰثَةَ اَيَّامٍ ۗذٰلِكَ وَعْدٌ غَيْرُ مَكْذُوْبٍ (هود : ١١)
- faʿaqarūhā
- فَعَقَرُوهَا
- But they hamstrung her
- faqāla
- فَقَالَ
- So he said
- tamattaʿū
- تَمَتَّعُوا۟
- "Enjoy (yourselves)
- fī
- فِى
- in
- dārikum
- دَارِكُمْ
- your home(s)

- (for) three

- أَيَّامٍۖ

- (to) be belied"
Transliteration:
Fa 'aqaroohaa faqaala tamatta'oo fee daarikum salaasata aiyaamin zaalika wa'dun ghairu makzoob(QS. Hūd:65)
English / Sahih Translation:
But they hamstrung her, so he said, "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. That is a promise not to be denied [i.e., unfailing]." (QS. Hud, ayah 65)

Then they slaughtered her. So, he said, “Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days (only). That is a promise, not to be backed out.”

English Literal
So they wounded it/slaughtered it/cut it/made it infertile, so he said: "Enjoy three days in your home/country , that (is) a promise not denied/falsified."

But they hamstrung her, Qudr hamstrung her at their command, and he, Slih, said, `Enjoy [yourselves], live, in your dwellings for three days, whereafter you will be destroyed. That is a promise that will not be belied'.

But they slaughtered her. So he said;"Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. This is a promise (a threat) that will not be belied."
فَلَمَّا جَاء أَمْرُنَا نَجَّيْنَا صَالِحًا وَالَّذِينَ امَنُواْ مَعَهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَمِنْ خِزْيِ يَوْمِيِذٍ
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ الْقَوِيُّ الْعَزِيزُ
