Al-Qur'an Surah Hud Verse 33
Hud [11]: 33 ~ English Qur'an Word By Word and Multi Tafseer
قَالَ اِنَّمَا يَأْتِيْكُمْ بِهِ اللّٰهُ اِنْ شَاۤءَ وَمَآ اَنْتُمْ بِمُعْجِزِيْنَ (هود : ١١)

Transliteration:
Qaala innamaa yaateekum bihil laahu in shaaa'a wa maaa antum bimu'jizeen(QS. Hūd:33)
English / Sahih Translation:
He said, "Allah will only bring it to you if He wills, and you will not cause [Him] failure. (QS. Hud, ayah 33)

He said, “Only Allah will bring it to you, if He so wills, and you cannot frustrate (His will).

Tafsir jalalayn
He said, `Only God will bring it upon you, if He wills, to hasten it on for you, for the decision is His, not mine; and you cannot escape Him, elude God.
Tafseer Ibn Kathir
"...if you are of the truthful."
(In reply to this), He said;"Only Allah will bring it (the punishment) on you, if He wills, and then you will escape not.
This means, `It is only Allah Who can punish you and hasten your punishment for you. He is the One from Whom nothing escapes.
