اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ خَسِرُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يَفْتَرُوْنَ ٢١
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- Those
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (are) the ones who
- khasirū
- خَسِرُوٓا۟
- (have) lost
- anfusahum
- أَنفُسَهُمْ
- their souls
- waḍalla
- وَضَلَّ
- and lost
- ʿanhum
- عَنْهُم
- from them
- mā
- مَّا
- (is) what
- kānū
- كَانُوا۟
- they used
- yaftarūna
- يَفْتَرُونَ
- (to) invent
Those are the ones who will have lost themselves, and lost from them is what they used to invent. (QS. [11] Hud: 21)Tafsir
لَاجَرَمَ اَنَّهُمْ فِى الْاٰخِرَةِ هُمُ الْاَخْسَرُوْنَ ٢٢

- جَرَمَ
- doubt
- annahum
- أَنَّهُمْ
- that they
- fī
- فِى
- in
- l-ākhirati
- ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
- the Hereafter
- humu
- هُمُ
- [they]
- l-akhsarūna
- ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ
- (will be) the greatest losers
Assuredly, it is they in the Hereafter who will be the greatest losers. (QS. [11] Hud: 22)Tafsir
اِنَّ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَمِلُوا الصّٰلِحٰتِ وَاَخْبَتُوْٓا اِلٰى رَبِّهِمْۙ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ اَصْحٰبُ الْجَنَّةِۚ هُمْ فِيْهَا خٰلِدُوْنَ ٢٣
- inna
- إِنَّ
- Indeed
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوا۟
- believe
- waʿamilū
- وَعَمِلُوا۟
- and do
- l-ṣāliḥāti
- ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ
- good deeds
- wa-akhbatū
- وَأَخْبَتُوٓا۟
- and humble themselves
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- before
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْ
- their Lord
- ulāika
- أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
- those
- aṣḥābu
- أَصْحَٰبُ
- (are the) companions
- l-janati
- ٱلْجَنَّةِۖ
- (of) Paradise
- hum
- هُمْ
- they
- fīhā
- فِيهَا
- in it
- khālidūna
- خَٰلِدُونَ
- (will) abide forever
Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds and humbled themselves to their Lord – those are the companions of Paradise; they will abide eternally therein. (QS. [11] Hud: 23)Tafsir
۞ مَثَلُ الْفَرِيْقَيْنِ كَالْاَعْمٰى وَالْاَصَمِّ وَالْبَصِيْرِ وَالسَّمِيْعِۗ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيٰنِ مَثَلًا ۗ اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ ࣖ ٢٤
- mathalu
- مَثَلُ
- (The) example
- l-farīqayni
- ٱلْفَرِيقَيْنِ
- (of) the two parties
- kal-aʿmā
- كَٱلْأَعْمَىٰ
- (is) like the blind
- wal-aṣami
- وَٱلْأَصَمِّ
- and the deaf
- wal-baṣīri
- وَٱلْبَصِيرِ
- and the seer
- wal-samīʿi
- وَٱلسَّمِيعِۚ
- and the hearer
- hal
- هَلْ
- Are
- yastawiyāni
- يَسْتَوِيَانِ
- they equal
- mathalan
- مَثَلًاۚ
- (in) comparison?
- afalā
- أَفَلَا
- Then will not
- tadhakkarūna
- تَذَكَّرُونَ
- you take heed?
The example of the two parties is like the blind and deaf, and the seeing and hearing. Are they equal in comparison? Then, will you not remember? (QS. [11] Hud: 24)Tafsir
وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا اِلٰى قَوْمِهٖٓ اِنِّيْ لَكُمْ نَذِيْرٌ مُّبِيْنٌ ۙ ٢٥
- walaqad
- وَلَقَدْ
- And verily
- arsalnā
- أَرْسَلْنَا
- We sent
- nūḥan
- نُوحًا
- Nuh
- ilā
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- qawmihi
- قَوْمِهِۦٓ
- his people
- innī
- إِنِّى
- "Indeed I am
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- to you
- nadhīrun
- نَذِيرٌ
- a warner
- mubīnun
- مُّبِينٌ
- clear
And We had certainly sent Noah to his people, [saying], "Indeed, I am to you a clear warner (QS. [11] Hud: 25)Tafsir
اَنْ لَّا تَعْبُدُوْٓا اِلَّا اللّٰهَ ۖاِنِّيْٓ اَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ اَلِيْمٍ ٢٦
- an
- أَن
- That
- lā
- لَّا
- (do) not
- taʿbudū
- تَعْبُدُوٓا۟
- worship
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- l-laha
- ٱللَّهَۖ
- Allah
- innī
- إِنِّىٓ
- Indeed I
- akhāfu
- أَخَافُ
- [I] fear
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- for you
- ʿadhāba
- عَذَابَ
- (the) punishment
- yawmin
- يَوْمٍ
- (of) a Day
- alīmin
- أَلِيمٍ
- painful"
That you not worship except Allah. Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a painful day." (QS. [11] Hud: 26)Tafsir
فَقَالَ الْمَلَاُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَوْمِهٖ مَا نَرٰىكَ اِلَّا بَشَرًا مِّثْلَنَا وَمَا نَرٰىكَ اتَّبَعَكَ اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ هُمْ اَرَاذِلُنَا بَادِيَ الرَّأْيِۚ وَمَا نَرٰى لَكُمْ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ فَضْلٍۢ بَلْ نَظُنُّكُمْ كٰذِبِيْنَ ٢٧
- faqāla
- فَقَالَ
- So said
- l-mala-u
- ٱلْمَلَأُ
- the chiefs
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- (of) those who
- kafarū
- كَفَرُوا۟
- disbelieved
- min
- مِن
- from
- qawmihi
- قَوْمِهِۦ
- his people
- mā
- مَا
- "Not
- narāka
- نَرَىٰكَ
- we see you
- illā
- إِلَّا
- but
- basharan
- بَشَرًا
- a man
- mith'lanā
- مِّثْلَنَا
- like us
- wamā
- وَمَا
- and not
- narāka
- نَرَىٰكَ
- we see you
- ittabaʿaka
- ٱتَّبَعَكَ
- followed [you]
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- hum
- هُمْ
- [they]
- arādhilunā
- أَرَاذِلُنَا
- (are) the lowest of us
- bādiya
- بَادِىَ
- immature in opinion
- l-rayi
- ٱلرَّأْىِ
- immature in opinion
- wamā
- وَمَا
- And not
- narā
- نَرَىٰ
- we see
- lakum
- لَكُمْ
- in you
- ʿalaynā
- عَلَيْنَا
- over us
- min
- مِن
- any
- faḍlin
- فَضْلٍۭ
- merit
- bal
- بَلْ
- nay
- naẓunnukum
- نَظُنُّكُمْ
- we think you
- kādhibīna
- كَٰذِبِينَ
- (are) liars"
So the eminent among those who disbelieved from his people said, "We do not see you but as a man like ourselves, and we do not see you followed except by those who are the lowest of us [and] at first suggestion. And we do not see in you over us any merit; rather, we think you are liars." (QS. [11] Hud: 27)Tafsir
قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اَرَءَيْتُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُ عَلٰى بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّيْ وَاٰتٰىنِيْ رَحْمَةً مِّنْ عِنْدِهٖ فَعُمِّيَتْ عَلَيْكُمْۗ اَنُلْزِمُكُمُوْهَا وَاَنْتُمْ لَهَا كٰرِهُوْنَ ٢٨
- qāla
- قَالَ
- He said
- yāqawmi
- يَٰقَوْمِ
- "O my people!
- ara-aytum
- أَرَءَيْتُمْ
- Do you see
- in
- إِن
- if
- kuntu
- كُنتُ
- I was
- ʿalā
- عَلَىٰ
- on
- bayyinatin
- بَيِّنَةٍ
- (the) clear proof
- min
- مِّن
- from
- rabbī
- رَّبِّى
- my Lord
- waātānī
- وَءَاتَىٰنِى
- while He has given me
- raḥmatan
- رَحْمَةً
- mercy
- min
- مِّنْ
- from
- ʿindihi
- عِندِهِۦ
- Himself
- faʿummiyat
- فَعُمِّيَتْ
- but (it) has been obscured
- ʿalaykum
- عَلَيْكُمْ
- from you
- anul'zimukumūhā
- أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَا
- should We compel you (to accept) it
- wa-antum
- وَأَنتُمْ
- while you (are)
- lahā
- لَهَا
- averse to it?
- kārihūna
- كَٰرِهُونَ
- averse to it?
He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord while He has given me mercy from Himself but it has been made unapparent to you, should we force it upon you while you are averse to it? (QS. [11] Hud: 28)Tafsir
وَيٰقَوْمِ لَآ اَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مَالًاۗ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلَى اللّٰهِ وَمَآ اَنَا۠ بِطَارِدِ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْاۗ اِنَّهُمْ مُّلٰقُوْا رَبِّهِمْ وَلٰكِنِّيْٓ اَرٰىكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُوْنَ ٢٩
- wayāqawmi
- وَيَٰقَوْمِ
- And O my people!
- lā
- لَآ
- not
- asalukum
- أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ
- I ask (of) you
- ʿalayhi
- عَلَيْهِ
- for it
- mālan
- مَالًاۖ
- any wealth
- in
- إِنْ
- Not
- ajriya
- أَجْرِىَ
- (is) my reward
- illā
- إِلَّا
- except
- ʿalā
- عَلَى
- from
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِۚ
- Allah
- wamā
- وَمَآ
- And not
- anā
- أَنَا۠
- I am
- biṭāridi
- بِطَارِدِ
- going to drive away
- alladhīna
- ٱلَّذِينَ
- those who
- āmanū
- ءَامَنُوٓا۟ۚ
- believed
- innahum
- إِنَّهُم
- Indeed they
- mulāqū
- مُّلَٰقُوا۟
- (will) be meeting
- rabbihim
- رَبِّهِمْ
- their Lord
- walākinnī
- وَلَٰكِنِّىٓ
- but I
- arākum
- أَرَىٰكُمْ
- see you
- qawman
- قَوْمًا
- (are) a people
- tajhalūna
- تَجْهَلُونَ
- ignorant
And O my people, I ask not of you for it any wealth. My reward is not but from Allah. And I am not one to drive away those who have believed. Indeed, they will meet their Lord, but I see that you are a people behaving ignorantly. (QS. [11] Hud: 29)Tafsir
وَيٰقَوْمِ مَنْ يَّنْصُرُنِيْ مِنَ اللّٰهِ اِنْ طَرَدْتُّهُمْ ۗ اَفَلَا تَذَكَّرُوْنَ ٣٠
- wayāqawmi
- وَيَٰقَوْمِ
- And O my people!
- man
- مَن
- Who
- yanṣurunī
- يَنصُرُنِى
- would help me
- mina
- مِنَ
- against
- l-lahi
- ٱللَّهِ
- Allah
- in
- إِن
- if
- ṭaradttuhum
- طَرَدتُّهُمْۚ
- I drove them away
- afalā
- أَفَلَا
- Then will not
- tadhakkarūna
- تَذَكَّرُونَ
- you take heed?
And O my people, who would protect me from Allah if I drove them away? Then will you not be reminded? (QS. [11] Hud: 30)Tafsir
